How do you manage to get a video to play within your write ups?

In Photoshop. There is likely a more efficient way, but I bring the video clip into Photoshop then clipping mask it where I want it, turn it to a smart object so I can make it fit the "frame," adjust all the timelines to be even then export it as a video. I then take the video and use Adobe Express to turn it into a gif.
