tough loss after a solid win to open the season. How are you feeling about your decision to start Skyler after a couple of games in?

apparently the patch fixed the running game so hopefully the next one is better

he missed a wide open tight end when we were down by eight and then fumbled a few plays later
growing pains though

(1-3) Arkansas State Red Wolves 14 - 31 Kennesaw State Owls (2-2)

QB Jaylen Raynor 17-32, 174 Yds, INT

Injuries
WR Romel Stevens (Sophomore) Partial MCL Tear (6 weeks)
DT Justin Owens Compound Foot Fracture (15 weeks)
G JaDarius Lee (Senior) Torn Labrum (2 weeks)
Players to Watch
QB Ryan Rivers (R-Jr) | 6'6", 225lbs | 78 OVR, 73 SPD, 95 THP, 89 SAC, 83 MAC, 83 DAC
‣ The Little Rock native has been a bright spot for the struggling Red Wolves that will look to earn their first FBS win of the season when they host KSU this week. He threw for three touchdowns and completed 66 percent of his passes against TCU in an impressive outing and has been solid this year for ArkState. He's sneaky athletic with a big arm that could challenge an Owls defense that gave up some backbreaking conversions last week.
HB Alex Broome (R-Sr) | 5'6", 191lbs | 77 OVR, 90 SPD, 91 ACC, 85 COD, 82 JKM
‣ The Boston College transfer saw a dip in touches last week after fumbling twice in the loss to Memphis but he should be back into the lineup as the Red Wolves' top running back. The Owls defense has struggled this season when it comes to slowing down the running game and Broome is an explosive runner with big play ability.
CB Ayden Jackson (Sr) | 5'11", 181lbs | 84 OVR, 91 SPD, 92 ACC, 78 MCV, 80 ZCV, 72 PRESS
‣ The Owls would have loved to have landed Ayden Jackson in the transfer portal once he left Georgia Southern but the Atlanta cornerback chose to leave the state to join Arkansas State and should be one of the top corners in the Sun Belt this season. He's yet to snag an interception this season but could be due for one as he takes on a passing game that was brought back down to earth last week in the loss to Georgia State.

(2-1, 0-0 C-USA)
(No. 5 AP, 3-0, 1-0 SEC)
Kennesaw State Owls at Tennessee Volunteers
Neyland Stadium - Sat 9/26/26, 12:00
Team Schedule
vs. FCS Southeast: W 51-6
vs. Utah State (2-1): W 41-17
at Auburn (1-2): W 35-21
Team Leaders
Passing: Caden Veltkamp 72 cmp%, 884 yards, 6 TD, INT
Rushing: Ahmad Hardy 439 yards, 7.6 ypc, 7 TD
Receiving: Kevin Concepcion 24 receptions, 331 yards, 3 TD
Defense: Clev Lubin 15 tackles, 5 TFL, 3 sacks
Last Meeting
No previous matchup
Injuries
LB Donelius Johnson (Senior) Torn Labrum (3 weeks)
G JaDarius Lee (Senior) Torn Labrum (out)
Players to Watch
QB Caden Veltkamp (R-Sr) | 6'6", 237lbs | 88 OVR, 76 SPD, 90 THP, 93 SAC, 99 MAC, 93 DAC
‣ The transition from Florida Atlantic to Knoxville has been a smooth one for Veltkamp threw for 253 yards and three touchdowns in his SEC debut last week against Auburn. He returns to the G6 level in this matchup against Kennesaw State and should be due for a big game against a vulnerable Owls defense that will be without top linebacker Donelius Johnson.
EDGE Clev Lubin (R-Sr) | 6'3", 253lbs | 87 OVR, 85 SPD, 92 ACC, 76 STR, 81 PMV, 93 FMV, 74 BSH
‣ The Owls don't have an answer anywhere on the offensive line for Lubin who looks and plays like an elite SEC edge rusher. The only way to slow down this Vols pass rush would be to establish a running game but Kennesaw State has struggled doing that this season, even against lesser competition. Lubin could be in for a multi-sack performance to stat his pads after having 5.5 sacks last year for Louisville all season long.
CB Boo Carter (Jr) | 5'11", 204lbs | 90 OVR, 95 SPD, 98 ACC, 88 MCV, 85 ZCV, 79 PRESS
‣ The Owls weren't shy about targeting top cornerback Ayden Jackson last week, who finished the game with thirteen tackles. The Owls should, however, be shy about going after Carter who is one of the top corners in the SEC. He's physical, athletic and trusts himself to play bump-and-run coverage throughout the entire game and should be a nightmare for the Owls passing game with his ability to play both inside and outside.

If we hadn't loss to Georgia State, I might think we could keep it close but the fact we struggled that badly against them makes me think we won't be able to move the ball at all against Tennessee. Even the Ark State had some wonky things happen like a return TD, some short fields and bad AI play calling on offense and they still came back
