them updated unis had your boys looking fresh as fuck, almost pulled off the huge upset. Good job keeping it competitive, you must have been on the edge of your seat after making it a one possession game in the 4th.

Not as bad as I thought it would be. Must be frustrating to be so close but can't pull the wins out.

QB Gavin Wimsatt (R-Sr) | 6′3″, 227 lbs | 84 OVR, 86 SPD, 90 THP, 80 SAC, 73 MAC, 70 DAC‣ It was a tough season for the Gamecocks last year who won just three games but one of those was the shutout victory against the Owls where Wimsatt had a fifty-six yards touchdown run and threw two touchdown passes. The redshirt senior has been outstanding in his second season with Jacksonville State and almost pulled the upset off against Auburn last week and comes into this game with plenty of momentum.
HB Jordan Savage (So) | 5′10″, 192 lbs | 76 OVR, 91 SPD, 98 ACC, 97 COD, 73 JKM‣ Savage scored two touchdowns against Auburn last week and is a big play waiting to happen out of the backfield. The Owls had a better than expected outing against Tennessee when it came to their rushing defense, starting two freshman linebacker, but without Donelius Johnson, this is still a matchup that the Gamecocks should find success with after last year's starter Andrew Paul rushed for 134 yards.
EDGE Jawaun Campbell (Jr) | 5′11″, 270 lbs | 79 OVR, 83 ACC, 79 STR, 79 BSH, 85 PMV‣ Owls quarterback Skyler Williams missed two plays last week with a back injury and while he was able to finish the game, he was clearly hampered by it and limited his mobility. Campbell and the Gamecocks pass rush will surely make it a priority to test out just how mobile and healthy Williams is early and often. Campbell had two sacks in the season opener against James Madison but has failed to record a sack since.

yeah the wings on the updated unis are growing on me. It was a weird game because the defense wasn't playing well but a turnover on down and a red zone interception kept it from being an early blowout and then we just kept hanging around. I knew that we ultimately wouldn't be able to get back-to-back stops and when Skyler threw that pick on our last drive, it was GGs in the chatCaptain Canada wrote: ↑07 Aug 2025, 11:17Not as bad as I thought it would be.
