Good to know the patch hasn't completely made the running game OP. Those two DTs are probably the best ones we'll see all year and definitely the only team that will have two of them.
hopefully we get to see them against the championship game
yeah, could have really taken control of the conference with a win but we're still alive in the championship race. just need to avoid dropping another one and certainly two more.
I don't like sliding when surrounded because sometimes it just triggers the animation where they don't slide and fumble. Just completely misplayed the final minutes of that game

Owls get their first commitment of the class in Pensacola's Thaddeus Yancey
Keke Hagg

KENNESAW, Ga. -- Two-star defensive end prospect Thaddeus Yancey has committed to the Kennesaw State Owls, becoming the first member of KSU's 2027 recruiting class.
Yancey, who is ranked as a two-star prospect, picked Kennesaw State over the University of Louisiana. The Pensacola native is listed at six-foot-one and 231 pounds with plenty of speed and bend around the edge. Yancey projects to be a situational pass rusher at the next level and will need to add some size in order to be an every down player.
In terms of a player comparison, he is similar to a Byron Jackson who is another undersized edge rusher currently on the Owls roster. Jackson has played the most snaps at defensive end this year for Kennesaw State and has 23 tackles and eight tackles for loss with two sacks as a sophomore.
The Owls signed two players last year from Pensacola in Jalen Maddox and Josh Kilgo, two interior offensive linemen that the coaching staff views as future starters.

CB Will Kendricks (Junior) Broken Ankle (14 weeks)
DT Devin Jones (Junior) Broken Tailbone (9 weeks)
DT Kone Aumua-Uiagalelei (Senior) Torn Tricep (8 weeks)Players to Watch
QB Grant Cutler (Sr) | 6′0", 196lbs | 78 OVR, 82 SPD, 92 THP, 79 SAC, 82 MAC, 61 DAC‣ Cutler isn't the most accurate of quarterbacks but he's got enough warm talent to dice you up and is one of the more athletic quarterbacks that the Owls have faced this season. Cutler is capable of making some splash plays, whether with his legs or his arm, especially when he's able to extend plays and go off script.
HB J'Koby Williams (Jr) | 5'9", 177lbs | 85 OVR, 93 SPD, 95 ACC, 94 COD‣ The Texas Tech transfer hasn't been given a ton of running lanes behind this New Mexico State offensive line but if they're able to give him a gap, he's got plenty of speed to take off and make something happen. Kadarius Calloway rushed for nearly 200 yards against this defense last year so the recipe and formula is there for this offense to be explosive and reliable on the ground against a suspect KSU rushing defense.
WR Jordan Dwyer (R-Sr) | 6'0", 195lbs | 83 OVR, 90 SPD, 91 ACC, 89 CTH‣ Dwyer had 1,097 receiving yards and ten touchdowns with TCU last season before transferring to New Mexico State where his production continues to be elite. The Aggies have two other highly capable receivers in T.J. Pride and A.J. Williams but the tone setter is Dwyer who keeps the chains moving and is the focal point of this offense.

the portal gonna have to save us again although i think this will be a better HS recruiting class. We signed like 8 guys last year and almost all of them are playing or projected to start next year. if we can bump that numbers to 12-15 and then add in another 15 portal guys, I'm happy with that intake

Catching them right as their getting hot. I can see J'Koby Williams ripping a run or two off.
