slow start but turned it on once you found the rhythm

also on the portal thing. Had the same thing happen to me. QB Carter Smith locked me out, so I signed a different QB (Who ended up being the starter anyways). Smith wasn't on my final recruiting class, sim to the pre-season and he's there :pgdead:
It's cool when you're not chising but after I done wrote an update and find a stranger on my roster

Stanford head coach Bubba Mack 'excited' about matchup against former team
Chris Wallace -- 247Sports Stanford Football Insider

Stanford head coach Bubba Mack was all smiles on Thursday when asked about how he felt about playing his former team this upcoming Saturday, just months removed from leading Kennesaw State to the College Football Playoffs.

"It's kind of like seeing your old girlfriend at the store when she's married and you're married and everything is good," Mack joked with reporters, "I'm really excited about seeing those guys and it's great people that make up that great program so looking forward to hosting them and playing some good football on Saturday."

It's a different Kennesaw State team, though, than the one that Mack left with defensive coordinator Marc Mattiolo taking the DC job at Florida State and Illinois hiring offensive coordinator Mitch Millitelo to be their head coach.

While new head coach Isaac Thielen was able to retain a lot of the talent and keep them from entering the portal, Thielen has made a change at quarterback, starting Ethan Houck over two-year starter Skyler Williams who holds nearly all of the program's passing records. Houck led Kennesaw State to a one-point victory over Georgia State, throwing for 366 yards but did have two interceptions along with his two touchdowns.

Redshirt junior Greg Burrell rushed for two touchdowns against Georgia State and Jamarice Wilder, who was a 1,000-yard rusher under Mack, figures to provide an effective one-two punch at running back.
