Los Angeles Chargers cornerback Donovan Bigby and running back Felix Whittaker were the only new names added to the non-participant list of the Chargers practice this week.

Bigby tore a muscle in his abdomen while Whittaker tore his shoulder, sidelining him once again for several weeks.

While both players are key contributors for the Chargers, the fall out from the team's win over the Las Vegas Raiders wasn't as catastrophic as once projected. Running backs Kyree Sampson, Tyron Floyd, Clinton McDonald and Duke Johnson all left the game with an injury but were present at practice and are expected to be full go on Sunday against the one-loss Pittsburgh Steelers. The Chargers are also getting back running back Derrick Henry and WR Justin Jefferson is close to returning.

Rainy Pittsburgh Afternoon Can't Slow Down Undefeated Chargers
If you're going to go an entire season without losing a game, you'll need to find different ways to win a game.

On a rainy and cold Pittsburgh afternoon with running back Derrick Henry getting hurt on the first drive, the Los Angeles Chargers did just that in their 30-13 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The Chargers relied on their running game and a clean game offensively -- no turnovers -- as well as their bend-but-don't-break defense to hold Pittsburgh to just thirteen points. Brian Petersen finished the game with 407 passing yards but more importantly for the Chargers brass, zero touchdowns.

Will Castonzo had more pedestrian numbers -- 221 passing yards, 34 rushing -- but had his first game without an interception in over a month. D.K. Metcalf had three catches for 78 yards before he also left the game with an injury.

The Los Angeles Chargers will be without four starters against the Green Bay Packers, including tight end Hunter Henry, wide receiver D.K. Metcalf, running back Felix Whittaker and cornerback Donovan Bigby.

Metcalf is rumored to have dislocated his ankle and could miss the rest of the regular season with the playoffs in jeopardy. Henry and Whittaker both tore their shoulders, injuries that should have a relatively small timeline for recovery with them expected to be back within the month. Bigby's injury will likely keep him out for a few more weeks and his absence was felt last week as the Pittsburgh Steelers threw for over 400 yards.

The Packers will look to seize on the injury to Bigby to help catapult their passing offense, which is ranked 6th worst in the league. The worst passing offense? The Chargers who are now without arguably two of their top receiving targets in Metcalf and Henry as well as Justin Jefferson, who is expected to be limited with a shoulder injury.
