"Can I Style You Pt III: The Beginning."

Tiny didn't hesitate to follow through with Noor about discussing a future partnership with her as his personal stylist. She joins Tiny at the table for dinner in a restaurant that he rented out for the entire evening.



"Wow, Tiny. All of this for a business meeting, huh? I've never been here before. Very fancy." Noor said as she scanned the room before taking her seat that Tiny pulled out for her.

"Welcome in, Noor. & yes. Truth be told, I love this restaurant. But I didn't want any distractions tonight. You know, in a public setting, you get snot nosed kids crying, or maybe a fight breaks out.." Tiny replied.

"You've been to a restaurant & a fight happened?!"

"Honestly, no. I was just trying be a little funny."

"Oh! Well, you're certainly funny. Thank you for giving me this opportunity, by the way." Noor said as she picked her menu up.

"So you rented this out for entire evening?"

"I did.. A friend of mine knows the owner. Couple of autographs here & a couple of selfies with fans there. & here we are.."



"You're quite the superstar, aren't you?" she replied with a smile.

"That's beside the point.. I want to hear your pitch."

Noor sat silently & observed Tiny's body language before proceeding with a further conversation.

"Let's talk business."



"Business?" She responded.

"I've never had a client take me out to dinner before, let alone something this nice. Can we order first? What if you don't like my pitch. I at least want to be full." she joked as she looked at the menu.

"Ah give yourself some credit. You've made it this far!" Tiny responded as he motioned the wait staff over to their table for their order.

"I'll have the Miyazaki Sunflower Wagyu & my friend here will have.."

"Friend? We're friends now, Tiny?" she said, teasing with a smile, looking up from the menu as her bright green eyes laid on his.

"I'll have the Hamachi & Shrimp Ceviche.." she said as she closed her menu.

"Of course we're friends.." Tiny responded as the wait staff walked away.

"Look at me." she said as she pointed to herself for his attention.

"You & I both know..."



"We're not gonna be friends."

Tiny leaned back in his seat with a grin.

"Is that right?"

Tiny held his gaze for a second longer… then a quiet laugh slipped from Noor's lips as she shook her head.

"That’s not the conversation I came to have. Let's reset the room for a bit."

She then leaned back in her seat, hiding the smile she wanted to reveal. Tiny remained grounded, just watching her.

"You didn’t bring me here because you wanted a friend.." she continued, folding her hands neatly on the table. "You brought me here because you wanted to hear my pitch, remember?"

“I need you to understand one thing, Mr. Jimenez. I don’t style outfits. I build moments people remember.”

"You build moments, huh. Okay.. Show me one." he replied as the wait staff appeared with the food for their dinner.

"Good." Noor said as she looked at her meal then back at him.



"Now we begin.."

Noor set her chopsticks down, leaned slightly forward, and let her eyes roam over the table.

"Look at your plate. Everything is perfectly in balance. Your plate tells a story. Everything has an origin. It has a story.."

Tiny looked down at his food before returning to Noor.

It’s choreography before the first bite.."

He grinned while she motioned to a statue in the corner of the room.

“Or how about that statue over there?" she asked, gesturing subtly. “What does it mean to you?”

Tiny paused as he stared at the art.

"I don't know."

"& that right there, Mr. Jimenez, is why you need me."

Tiny’s fingers hovered over his chopsticks, then rested. He looked at her, eyes crinkling with a mix of amusement and respect.

“I get it..” he said, quietly. “Maybe you are exactly what I need..”

"But please, Noor.. just call me Tiny.."
