It was a big night for Recks Black as he led all scorers with 39 points, including going 4/7 from range, in tonight's win.
PHOENIX — With a 5-game winning streak on the line, the Phoenix Suns are the team to beat right now in the NBA. A middle-of-the-pack Boston Celtics team showed up in Phoenix tonight to not just compete; they wanted to win.
The first quarter was intense, showcasing both team's impressive defense & offense. The 2nd quarter saw a bit of a drop in production from the Suns & they headed into half-time trailing by 10.
Boston Celtics', Ryuji Kuze, was dominant in tonight's matchup. The 7'7" man from Japan scored 38 points on 18/24 shooting.
"Kuze's a tremendous athlete. He had a great game against us but we can't allow that when we face them in Boston." Suns' LeBron James told DS.net after the game.
The Suns would rally back in the second half as superstar Recks Black took over the game. The 6'4" guard out of USC continued his scoring frenzy from the first half & finished the game with 39 points & a win for the Suns.
"He absolutely won the game for us. & he also did the unthinkable. That dunk over Kuze?! Oh my! Dunk of the Year!" Tiny Jimenez said in the post-game press conference when asked about Recks' contribution to the game.
