y'all had an easy one and Clemson was in a dogfight, hopefully the Ducks took a bit out of em for you :yup:
I've never seen a QB toss up more garbage than in that game. The first play of the game on offense for Oklahoma was a shot play that got knocked down.

Editor's Note: Just updated the front page with Season-in-Review for the last 5-6 seasons, a hub for my Recruiting Classes, and my own personal Hall of Fame where I can keep better track of players as I cycle through seasons, if y'all want to check it out for whatever reason.

Was definitely a walk down memory lane going through and doing it!

BREAKING NEWS: Texas taps Kenny Dillingham as next head coach
ESPN Writer

DALLAS – After weeks of speculation and high-profile rumors, Texas Longhorns football have made their decision.

Texas is hiring former Arizona State head coach Kenny Dillingham as its next head football coach, opting for the rising offensive mind over the widely rumored pursuit of Nico Augustine, the architect behind SMU's national rise.

The move officially closes the door on one of the most talked-about coaching storylines of the season.

Dillingham arrives in Austin fresh off a breakout season with the Sun Devils, where he led the program to a 9-4 and being the 12th-ranked team in the nation, reestablishing momentum in Tempe and showcasing one of the most creative offensive systems in the country.

In a rare move, Dillingham was transparent throughout the process after Arizona State finished just outside of the College Football Playoff. He even informed Arizona State supporters that he would be interviewing for the Texas job.

Now, he takes over one of the sport's most high-pressured positions, tasked with restoring the Longhorns to national prominence.

Dillingham replaces Steve Sarkisian, who was dismissed after a disappointing 5-7 season that saw Texas fall out of playoff contention. Sarkisian, however, didn't remain on the market long.

In a swift turn of events, he has been hired as the new head coach of Florida State, giving him a fresh start with a new program making their move to the SEC next year.

For much of the search, Augustine appeared to be the frontrunner. The SMU head coach has built a powerhouse with the Mustangs, winning a national championship and positioning the program as a perennial contender. His name carried weight not just because of wins, but because of his reputation as one of the brightest offensive minds in football.

Several factors appear to have shifted Texas' thinking, including the ongoing investigation with the NCAA, reports of internal tension between Augustine and SMU leadership, and recent seismic recruiting misses tied to the aforementioned off-field uncertainty.

In contract, Dillingham represented a clean, ascending option - a coach on the rise without off-field complications.

With Texas moving in a different direction, the spotlight now swings back to Dallas. Augustine remains at the center of one of college football's most compelling situations. After navigating a turbulent season filled with external scrutiny, he has still guided SMU to the brink of another title - with the National Championship matchup against Clemson looming.

Despite the noise, Augustine has not publicly indicated any desire to leave SMU. But the past few months - marked by investigation, recruiting battles, and reported friction with leadership - have introduced a certain level of uncertainty that didn't exist before.
