Squad be missing

DeRozan, Fall & McCollum had a bulk of more shared shots that's not seen. Game was too tight at one point to not put the ball in Recks' hands.

BIG BROTHER

With the WNBA season over, Khyri wasted no time in resuming her full-time motherly duties, enjoying her time with the kids. After giving Kairos some tutoring, the two made chicken pot pies for dinner together before the triplets woke fom their nap. With a ring at the door, Khyri opened the door for Katie Lou.

"Hey girlie? What's up?" Khyri gives Katie Lou a welcoming hug.

"Just stopping by to see you guys, see what you was up to these days."

"Ain't much going on, just kicking back with these kids of mine before we have to get ready for next season."

"Something smells good, what is that?"

"Just finished making some chicken pot pies, hand made from scratch. Want a plate?"

"Sure!"

"Hi Auntie Katie!" Kairos hurrily gives Katie a hug.

"Hey, Sweetie! Boy, you're growing up fast! How tall are you?!"

"5'6". My Dad is in Houston, he's playing the Rockets. Game is in a couple of hours, you gonna watch with us?"

"Yeah, I'd love to, sounds like a good idea", Katie replied.

The group enjoyed a simple, yet fulfilling meal, carrying conversations as the triplets play among themselves on the living room floor. It was almost time for the Lakers & Rockets game. It would be Recks' first meeting with Jalen Green as a opponent since their rookie season.

Just as the pre-game show got underway, Khyri's phone goes off. "Hey Sue! How are you?".. "I'm great, I'm great, the kids are doing wonderful".. "Oh, nothing, just here with Katie Lou."

"Hiii Suuueee!!!" Katie Lou shouted from the background. Khyri proceeded to put Sue on speaker.

"Hey girls! Glad to hear you two still hanging out."

"What? Always!" Katie retorted. "You know we're unseparable!"

"Yeah, silly me for even thinking otherwise, haha."

"So, what's up Sue? Where are you tonight?"

"Oh, I'm here at a hotel right now, we just checked in. We're getting ready to look at some houses this week."

"A home in L.A.? That's awesome. You finally tired of Seattle?"

"No way! We're still keeping our home out there. We're making that our vacation home now. We're about to be permanent residents here."

"Sounds good. What brought on the house hunting?"

"Well, I got some good news for you both that you're going to love!"

"Oh? Do tell, don't keep us in suspense", Katie Lou injected.

"Okay, okay, I was trying to go for a little suspense, but I'll just come out with it... As of the next WNBA season. I, Sue Bird, shall be the head coach of your Los Angeles Sparks!!"

"Whaaaat? Get out of here! You're lying!"

"Nope! Signed the deal earlier today. I'll be rocking with you girls for the next four seasons, providing you both stay."

"What? That's crazy!" Katie says aloud. A smile stretched across her face effortlessly from hearing the exciting news, same for Khyri.

"I made a promise to you girls. I said I would always be there to mentor you. And I'm making good on my word!"

"Sue, you didn't have to go through all this just to keep your word. You could've just hit us with a phone call from time to time, keep our head straight. But this is a whole nother level.

"It is! It is! I'm still excited about it my-self, still feel un-real that we are back together."

"It'll be great to have you back Sue!" Khyri replied.

"Awwh, I wish I could be there and hug it out with you guys! But hey, I got to go. Megan and I about to head out and grab a bite. I'll talk to you guys real soon! Bye!"

"Bye!", the two said in stereo.

After hanging up the call, the two looked at each other with a huge smile on their faces, screeching with excitement. Kairos sat on the outside looking in, confused over the hype. But given his age, it was understandable and he just had to be there...

Squad playing great aside from Hayward not living up to his minutes, gonna have to adjust. We almost loss the last game. Got lucky that Silas betrayed D. Rose subbing him out while he had the hot hand. :obama:

He did, and was getting scary unstoppable towards the end of the game. Too close for comfort
