Overall:
Maybe closer than the score suggests but it all unraveled for SF in the 4th quarter after Tariq Woolen's pick-six with less than 3 minutes remaining - the Seattle pass rush and secondary did their number of Brock Purdy in this game.
I almost felt the momentum leaning towards SF after two early drives into the red zone, but the Seahawks defense stood tall and ended up surrendering two field goals that were both less than 25 yards, otherwise it would have been 14-0 as opposed to 6-0. We somehow managed to hold the 49ers scoreless after that.
In the 2025 season not much has changed with San Francisco's offensive weapons, though I will say outside of Trent Williams their offensive line is bad (everyone rated lower than 80).
Geno Smith didn't have a great game by any means, but his stat line looked a lot better after completed a 48-yard and 46-yard pass to Smith-Njigba and Metcalf (so essentially 1/3 of his yards came on 2 completions).
Nice game, imo. Do I go back to Seattle for Madden 25?
