Stanford picks up another blue chip prospect in IMG Academy's Tim Bing

Stanford University landed a commitment from four-star defensive tackle Tim Bing as the Cardinal secured one of the top defensive tackles in the country.

Bing, who picked Stanford over Washington and Utah, is originally from Kahuku, Hawaii and has played the last two seasons for IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida. He is the third-ranked defensive tackle in the state and nets the Cardinal one of the top trench players this cycle.

He's got ideal size for what the Cardinal want to do up front defensively and has the versatility to play anywhere within the interior of Stanford's defense but best projects as a three-technique or even potentially five-technique at six-foot-four and 282 pounds.

Stanford currently has the seventh ranked class in the country with six four star committed.
