
BRONCOS BOUNCCE BACK BIG AGAINST BEARS
GAME RECAPComing off a disappointing loss to UCAL in Week 6, Boise State bounced back in a big way against (4-1) Cal in Week 7. The Broncos jumped out to a early (17-0) lead in the 1st Quarter and extended the lead to (34-0) as the Bronco Defense comes up with a pair of INT's off SO QB Mike Harvey (87 Ovr). Harvey would manage to lead to late scoring drives (TD and a FG) as the Bears make it (34-10) at the half.
After a 5 turnover came against the Bruins, JR QB Cam Hooks was back to himself throwing for almost 300 yds and 2TD in the including a 82 yd bomb to Kyle Harmon and a 72 yd bomb to RB JerMacrcus Boykins
Cal would actually out score the Broncos in the 3rd Quarter holding BSU to a pair of FG's well Harvey connects on a 28 yd score his SR TE Keke Wonnum (76 ovr) before completing the score with a 2pt play to make it (40-18) going into the 4th..
Despite the 3 score lead BSU continued to pour it on in the 4th Quarter scoring 3 more times as Brian Crum scores his 2nd TD of the game before turning the rest of the quarter over to his good friend Drew Waller who finishes with 15 carries for 61 yds including a 19 yd TD..
Already with 1 receiving touchdown on the day, SR JerMarcus Boykins adds to his total as he hauls in another score giving him over 200 All-purpose yards on the day.
Cal would tack on a late score with less then a minute to play making it (61-25) but BSU wasn't done as Coach Miller sends out Cedric Eagles for a his 5th FG of the game (48 yds) in the final seconds. FINAL SCORE BOISE STATE-64 CAL-25

Despite the win Boise State remains at #12 going into their Week 8 matchup with (4-2) Colorado. The Buffs started the season 3-0 with wins over N. Texas and Fresno State (as well as N. Colorado) but have lost 2 of their last 3 including a (35-21) loss @ Washington in Week 7.
