Defense: Carlos Vargas 17 tackles, 12 TFL, 6 sacks
Injuries

Players to Watch
QB Daryl Bender (R-Sr) | 6′1″, 188LBS | 93 OVR, 85 SPD, 90 ACC, 93 AWR, 93 THP, 92 SAC, 93 MAC, 75 DAC
‣ Bender is exactly the type of quarterback that has given Stanford problems in the past. He's quick, elusive and has plenty of arm talent to challenge them down the field. Stanford will try to pressure him early and often to try to get him to turn the ball over but Bender has been incredibly efficient since becoming a starter last year, throwing just four interceptions in his seventeen career starts.
WR Tobias Arnold (R-Sr) | 6′5″, 208LBS | 89 OVR, 88 SPD, 95 ACC, 91 CTH, 91 RLS
‣ Arnold isn't your typical slot receiver at six-foot-five and two hundred pounds. He'll get involved in the running game as a blocker and can move the chains with his big frame. He'll be matched up against Kentrell Marvin, the leader of that Stanford defense in what should be a fun matchup to watch.
EDGE Tevin Kafka (R-Jr) | 6′4″, 223LBS | 97 OVR, 90 SPD, 91 ACC, 88 STR, 87 PMV, 97 FMV, 79 BSH
‣ Carlos Vargas gets a lot of the counting numbers with six sacks on the season but that's because a lot of the attention goes to the outside with Kafka. He's coming off 8.5 sacks last season and had six the year before. He got two on the year, both of them coming against Arizona and Alabama State in the first two games of the season and has been quiet since. This Stanford offensive line does get Joe Nunn back into the lineup which will be a matchup to watch in his first game back.
Hard Rock Bet™
Spread: Alabama -10.5
Moneyline: Stanford +340
Over: 64.5
Place your bets and I'll keep track of your winnings/loss throughout the season. The winner's (by percentage with a minimum of 16 bets placed) team of choice will get a rating's bump and choose which conference to be the commissioner of for the following season to select my schedule. The second place will have second choice on which conference and so forth for third and fourth place.

you got us in a pickle here Soap. Which Stanford team is going to show up? Going to take the spread Stanford +10.5, because you will keep it close but lose on a missed/blocked FG

No injuries to this Bama team? On the road?
Bama to cover, Bama to win. Kafka about to have your entire offensive line tooted up.
