Florida in Unhappy With Their Poor Showing Against South Florida Bulls
The Florida Gators might have been looking forward to introducing their little cousin to the SEC but after Saturday, those sentiments likely changed.

USF totaled more than 600 yards of offense while holding Florida to just 28 rushing yards in the team's 34-20 win over the Gators on Saturday afternoon.

USF jumped out to an early 10-0 lead following Jason Barbour's 42-yard touchdown. While Florida kept battling, Nick Williams also kept finding his receivers down the field with a 63-yard bomb to Ryan Wagner before the half ended.

Barbour finished the game with 183 yards on ten receptions. Wagner also eclipsed 100 yards receiving while Williams flirted with another 400-yard performance.

Florida quarterback Anthony Reid was able to move the ball more efficiently in the second half but still threw three interceptions, including two to safety Jake Lott.

Bulls keep momentum going with three commitments in past four days
Eddie Fernandez -- 247 Sports USF Insider

The South Florida Bulls have landed a receiver from Jacksonville.....Arkansas.

Four-star receiver Jimmy Ingram out of Arkansas, a state the Bulls rarely recruit, was part of a three-man commitment run that the Bulls enjoyed over the weekend which also included four-star defensive tackle Rodney Williams and three-star Miami running back Dion Rogers.

Ingram is a polished product at receiver and among the receivers committed in the class, including five-star Andrew Rivas, he's the most skilled. His biggest drawback is his level of athleticism and at five-foot-ten with a 40-time over 4.6, he lacks the physical tools to impose his will on opponents and could struggle in creating separation at the next level. This will likely limit him to playing in the slot almost exclusively for the Bulls but paired with some of the other more athletically gifted receivers, this is a solid WR class.

While Ingram lacks athleticism, Williams and Rogers have a ton of it. Williams is a bit undersized at around 260 pounds if he plans on playing a zero-technique in the Bulls 3-3-5 front so a switch to defensive end might be in order and he's plenty athletic enough to play that five technique. He's a bit of a project and it might take sometime before he's an impact player but the canvas is a good starting point.

Rogers is a speed demon and is an accomplished 200m sprinter at the high school level with Olympic potential. On the football field, Rogers is a bit raw and sometimes struggles with his pad level and running between the tackles. He has a tendency to try to bounce runs to the outside and has been accused by some talent evaluators as avoiding contact too often for their liking. He can make an impact on special teams early on but the verdict is still out on if he can be an effective running back in the SEC.

The commitments moved the Bulls to 2nd in the country in the recruiting rankings, behind only Minnesota.

Midshipmen Bow Out at the End to USF 41-34
"If they want to [break the streak], they're going to have come get it in blood," said USF head coach Malcolm Francois after the game.

The Navy Midshipmen did almost that, scoring on their first play from scrimmage but failed to score on the last play as USF was able to hang on and complete their 41-34 comeback win over undefeated Navy to keep their now 40-game home winning streak alive.

Navy jumped out to an early 17-3 lead, thanks to an 80-yard touchdown run by quarterback Colton Rivero and then a 65-yard catch by Tony Huff on third and long to set up Tony Payne's touchdown with 1:47 left in the first half.

USF would come roaring back, scoring twice in less than ninety seconds thanks to an interception by their defense to tie the game at seventeen entering the half only for the Midshipmen to score on the very first play of the second half, forcing a turnover and then Roger Poland was able to get to the outside on a 24-yard touchdown run to give Navy once again a two possession lead.

Rivero would throw three second half interceptions, including two in the third quarter that allowed USF to score on three straight possession to take the lead. After both teams swapped field goals, USF would make a goal-line stop with no time left on the clock to preserve their win.

The Bulls did this without their two top running backs as David Fuller and Derrick Green would both leave the game with an injury in the first half, leaving the Bulls to rely more on quarterback Jed White as a running threat (110 yards, 2 touchdowns) and Jason Finley rushing for over 100 yards.
