#9 TENN (7-2, 5-2) | 10 | 3 | 6 | 14 || 33
#1 USF (8-0, 6-0) | 7 | 14 | 15 | 28 || 64
-----------------------------------------------

Bulls Extend Home Winning Streak to 46 as They Clobber Tennessee 64-33
The Tennessee Volunteers were rolling as they forced a fumble on USF's first offensive drive, drove down the field to score, made a stop and then found themselves back on the Bulls 5-yard line with a chance to go up 14-0.

The Bulls would hunker down, force the Vols to settle for a field goal, return the ensuing kickoff for a touchdown and the rout was on. USF outscored Tennessee 43-20 in the second half on their way to secure a 64-33 win and extend their home winning streak to forty six games.

Only Miami, Alabama, Harvard, Michigan and Nebraska have had longer streaks. The streak is the longest in the BCS era and will survive yet another season as this was the Bulls senior night and final home game of the season.

USF did not have any answers for the Volunteers rushing attack who ran for 268 yards compared to USF's just 73. It wasn't enough however to keep up with Jed White and Bulls passing offense. White threw seven touchdowns, a school record, as he continued on his impressive Heisman campaign.

The matchup was the first between former Bulls offensive coordinator and current Tennessee head coach Marcel Smith against the Bulls and head coach Malcolm Francois Sr, who unceremoniously relieved Smith of his duties midway through the season back in 2019 after spending five seasons with the Bulls.

Not quite a sweep but Bulls make up ground in recruiting with big weekend of visits
Eddie Fernandez -- 247 Sports USF Insider

With several top recruits on campus this past weekend, the USF Bulls were expected to land some commitments and they did not disappoint.

Five-star safety Corey Montgomery, four-star quarterback Antonio Whitehead, four-star defensive ends Nate Stewart and Justin Young along with three-star offensive tackle Tim Weibecker all committed to the Bulls.

The big gets were Montgomery and Whitehead as the Bulls locked up their quarterback of the class and at least one five star, keeping the streak alive of nine straight classes with one five-star or more.

In Montgomery, the Bulls are getting one of the more physically gifted athletes in the country. He's one of the fastest recruits the Bulls have ever landed, beating Georgia and Ole Miss for his services. Some schools like him at receiver but according to Montgomery, the Bulls really like him at safety and that's where he's expected to start his career at.

Speaking of speed, the Bulls are somehow getting even faster at the quarterback position. While Jed White has the impressive combo of size and speed, Whitehead is a similar well built, athletic quarterback, just at five-foot-eleven. He has better testing numbers than Jay Jackson, who is another shorter quarterback that the Bulls have signed recently.

Similar to White, he has limitations as a passer but he'll be afforded the time to develop that aspect of his game. With Whitehead committed, the Bulls can now focus on adding some more depth to the position as well with offers going out to three-star out of state quarterbacks Terrance Cooper (Virginia) and Darius Jones (Alabama).

Two of the other commitments came from players that will be trying to attack opposing quarterbacks in defensive ends Nate Stewart and Justin Young. Young out of Pennsylvania is a more traditional 4-3 defensive end who excels at setting the edge. He is rather raw as a pass rusher but his motor and length allows him to stumble into plays both in the run game and when rushing the quarterback.

Stewart is a bit more dynamic and could potentially kick inside as three-technique in a four man front or five technique in a three-man front. He's big, strong and has shown the ability to bully his way to the quarterback.

The last commitment is an important one in Weisbecker out of Texas who gives the Bulls some insurance policy that they'll end up with at least one offensive lineman in the class. Four-star guard Nick Matthews and three-star offensive tackle Carlos Smith were also on campus but did not commit. Matthews is considered a Texas Tech or Michigan lean at this point.

Other players that were on campus and did not commit include five-stars Jeremiah McCullough and Sean Olsen along with four-star wide receiver Paul Wilson. Wilson, who is teammates with Whitehead, spoke to 247 Sports and explained he did not commit due to the Bulls policy of no more visits following commitments and he intends to visit Clemson in two weeks. Olsen is visiting Vanderbilt this weekend as well.

McCullough will be in Tallahassee in two weeks and Orlando the week after, visiting UCF.

Bulls Rally Back from 24-0 Deficit to Beat Miami as Canes Shutout in Second Half
Miami's Derek Garrison spent the first half being nearly perfect and making plays while his counterpart Jed White was throwing interceptions.

In the fourth quarter, when it mattered the most, the roles were reversed as White and the Bulls completed the 24-point comeback to hold off the upset and beat the Hurricanes 38-27.

Garrison's fourth quarter interception with less than two minutes left in the game would set up USF being able to run out the clock before White was able to break a long run on a QB power call on third down.

White finished the game with 186 yards on the ground and three touchdowns, using his legs to overcome his three interception performance in the first half which led to Miami jumping out to a 24-0 lead. A Miami native, he was once committed to the Hurricanes before flipping his commitment to USF. Even with his down performance through the air, he is amongst the nation's leaders with 3082 yards and 33 touchdowns with thirteen more on the ground.

With the ball on the five-yard line and already up 21-0, Miami opted to settle for a field goal instead of going for it. The field goal was the first win for the Bulls defense who at that point, had forced just one incompletion and allowed a touchdown on the last three drives.

USF used that momentum on the red zone stop to score back-to-back touchdowns to end the first half and then opened the second half with another touchdown. After failing to take the lead and having to settle for a field goal before the end of the third quarter, USF finally took the lead on White's 2-yard pass to Malcolm Francois Jr.

USF making it look too easy, offense always has enough time to keep them in the game. Crazy schedule making to end the season with four road games, hopefully the recruits still commit without having any late visit opportunities.
