Offseason Time.
After deciding to take the summer off from a life in Hollywood, I finally have found myself relaxing at home spending quality time with my family by the pool. My two daughters, August & Autumn, haven't been shy of keeping me full of life.
"Daddy's got you." I said as I balanced both of them in my arms in the pool.
"See. Isn't this nice?"
Both of my girls held on to me tight as played together in the water. They kicked their legs & repeatedly took turns slapping me in the face.
"Aw. Isn't that cute?" Charly said with joy.
I looked back at her & smiled.
"I love my papa!" August said as she leaned in for a hug.
"And I love you too!" I said before giving her a big kiss.
"I love you both!" as I kissed Autumn next.
I handed the girls to Mandy who was standing beside me.
"So. Tiny. There's something new Mandy & I heard about & we wanted to give you a chance to explain before we jumped to conclusions." Charly said as she sipped her alcoholic drink in the pool.
"What's up?"
"See we heard that you were trying to see another wrestler this summer. In San Antonio. Remember when you went to Lyric Houston's birthday party?" Her tone began to get sterner & sterner with each word as she continued. She always talks like she's broadcasting on television. Loud.
"Oh yeah. I was at the party I remember. He turned 21."
"She's not asking if you remember the party smart ass. She's asking if there's any truth to what she's saying." Mandy said my direction.
"Thank you." Charly said to Mandy.
"Yeah. I may have hung out with Sasha Banks at the party but that's it."
"& you left with her."
I paused & looked at them both. May have even slightly grinned because I was caught.
"Yes. & I left with her." I said. Both collectively let out sighs & grunts simultaneously.
"America already thinks we're crazy, Tiny." Charly said.
"That's why they want to give us a fkn reality tv show. Two moms. One daddy. A UFC, NBA player, & hollywood actor daddy." She said with a laugh.
"Just don't let America think we're stupid too, please." She said.
"Or I'll kick your ass."
"& me too." Mandy chimed.
I looked at both of them & knew I was wilding.
"I'm sorry. I won't let it happen again."
Both girls looked resolved with my answer as the attention shifted back to the girls who had accidentally bumped into each other. All that I'm thinking in my head is I can't get caught up again.
"Let's watch a movie." I suggested as we finished drying off to head inside.
"& what do we suggest we watch?" Mandy replied.
I grinned..
"Fast & Furious again, huh? You must really be proud to work with Vin Diesel."
"He's one of the best."
