After months of questions regarding the construction of a new, multi-million dollar school in downtown Newark, NJ, residents have finally found out just who's behind funding the operation. Indiana Pacers point guard & Newark-native, Augusto "Tiny" Jimenez, will be opening a new school that he states will offer different approaches & opportunities for underprivileged kids & teens in the area."

"It's my turn to give back to the community that raised me." Jimenez told Newark News Weekly.

"I lost many friends to drugs, gangs, & gun violence as I was growing up in this very city. This has to stop. The I Believe School, as we'll be naming it, will offer real world approaches to your children to help them reach their goals. While getting students prepped for college is our main goal, we will also be offering intensive training in other fields as well to succeed in a life after highschool."

"The 'I Believe School' is set to be a K-12 school & will open it's doors for the 2029-2030 school year."
