Bye Week x Senior Advice.
After last weekend's unfortunate loss to FCS Mid-West, the Rainbow Warriors had their 2nd bye of the season in Week 4. After being a good college student, dedicated football athlete, & loyal boyfriend, Jozif was finally convinced to attend his first college party with his teammates off-campus. As he walked in with fellow freshman, QB Micah Alejado & HB Derek Boyd II, they were greeted by upperclassmen on the team while Kendrick Lamar's 'They Not Like Us' was blasting in the background.
"Jozif! It's good to see you out you British fuck! Come here!" second string C Zack Sawyer said as he drunkenly put his arms around the one from Croydon.
"Ah, don't mind him. He's a drunk bastard! Have you ever been drunk before, J?" Brayden Schager, the starting quarterback for Hawaii, who also is a Senior, asked Jozif.
"This guy? This London fuck has probably been getting wasted in pubs since he was 14!" Jalen Smith, the starting ROLB, added.
"Hah. Mans don't drink.. Never have.." Jozif responded.
"No fucking way mans don't drink! Hey, Falck! Grab this motherfucker a beer!" Schager shouted to Ben Falck, the senior punter for the Rainbow Warriors.
"You got it!" Falck's voice shouted from the kitchen.
"Here, J. Catch!" Falck shouted as he tossed JF a pabst blue ribbon can.
"This fucker's got magnets in his hands! He can catch anything!" Schager said as he put his arm around his freshman receiver.
"If you don't give it to the other team first.." JF said as he fake jabbed Schager in his stomach..
Without smiling at Jo's joke, he quickly responded, "Come on bruv, It's just banter! Just banter!"
"So you don't drink.. What about smoke? You've at least smoked before, right JF?" Jalen Smith pressed as a female sitting next to him rolled up a blunt.
"Hah! Mans done a bit of puff n'that.." Jo said, having only smoked hookah with Jade late last year after his tour of Lexington on a University of Kentucky visit.
"Then you won't have any problem starting this one.." the female said as she handed Jozif the blunt.
"We smoked all the time in the endz you get me.." He said as he awkwardly tried to play it cool.
Just at that time, a voice caught his attention from across the room.
"Jo! Oh my god! Hey! I didn't know you were going to be here tonight!" Neolani said as she ran up & put her arms around him for a hug.
"Wait, you smoke?" She said with a puzzled look.
"Neolani! Wagwan.. & they want mans to blaze but I already puffed before coming here.. Mans already kinda high.." he said as he handed the blunt back to the girl who gave it to him in an effort to avoid the awkward encounter.
"What you doing here, gyal? You good?"
"Yeah! Yes, I'm good! I'm here with a few of my friends.. Where they are right now, I'm not entirely sure.." she said as she grinned from ear to ear at Jozif.
"What are you doing here? I didn't think you were ever going to leave your dorm room.." she playfully joked.
"We forced his Croydon ass to join us tonight.. If he wants to be apart of this team, he's going to have to participate in team activities! How you doing, the names Brayden Schager.." he said as he extended a handshake to Neolani.
"Hi! Nice to meet you.."
Before Brayden could say much more, Neolani's friends came from around the corner & motioned for her to come to them.
"I'm sorry, I've got to go. Jo! Stick around! I want to talk to you some more." she said as she walked away from the group of football players after giving JF another hug.
"BRO." Brayden said to Jozif.
"Uh... Yeah??"
"You've got to fuck that girl tonight!"
"Haaaaah! Joking. You're funny, yeah!"
"No, I'm not joking. Dude, that girl was practically creaming her panties just standing there talking to you! Take that big Croydon dick of yours & give that girl what she's aching for!" Brayden said as she shouted in Jo's ear over the loud music.
"We're just friends, yeah. Besides, mans has a lady back in Kentucky, you know."
"Fuck that shit, Jo! This is college bro! & you've got that fine piece of ass literally trying to throw it at you! You should be on that 24/7.. I know I would."
"When in Hawaii, after all.." Derek Boyd II said with a smirk as he overheard the conversation.
Jozif stood there & thought about what was being said to him.
"You lot are crazy, man! Come on! Let's get back to drinking, yeah!" Jozif said as he returned to the couch with his teammates.
"Get mans another beer!" he shouted as everyone cheered for the Croydon-native to keep drinking.
While JF is a committed man, he couldn't help but think about what his teammates were telling him. A handful of beers & a few shots of liquor later, J looked at Brayden & motioned that he was taking his advice.
"Good luck." he said as the two dapped each other up.
"Neolani! Let me holla at you real quick yeah!"
