Q: After losing to this team twice last year, how important was this win?
A: Not going to sugarcoat it, they had our number last year. Beat us at our place and then turned around and beat us at a neutral site so they own the bragging rights for last year but this year, we showed up and played to our potential.
Q: You had to wait almost two months into the season to get your first win, how does that change things to get some success against a ranked opponent this early into the year?
A: There's plenty of bad tape out there from today, I'm sure I can find them. The guys know that our goals for the year wasn't to win one game against one ranked opponent. We want to be competing for championships, holding up shiny things at the end of the season so we're not satisfied but we are encouraged.
Q: We saw a different rotation up front with guys like Will McDonald and Brian Coale playing a bulk of the snaps. We didn't see much of Stewart Sullivan, one of the captains of the team. Was that gameplan specific?
A: You have to earn snaps, simple as that. (Sullivan) can be a great player but there's a lot of great players here so some games, some guys don't get into the game as much as they'd want. I'm not going to get into any specifics but you had twelve, thirteen games last year to earn playing time, the spring, fall camp, summer workouts so at this point, if you're not in, it's for a reason.
