Coach Singleton's Notes:
‣ Demario Starr will get the start at corner over Amare Snowden, need to send a message that performance is everything.
‣ Mohammed and Washington both have big play capability and since they wear the same number, will need to treat them the same when they're on the field.
‣ They don't have a true deep threat on the roster but a bunch of guys that can pick up chunk yards, especially on third down.

Coach Singleton's Post Game
Q: Another close game but you guys weren't able to come out with the win. What was the difference tonight?
A: We just never really settled in, the way that we wanted to as a team. The defense came out flat, surrendered two early touchdowns and now you're in a tough spot with our offense and everything taking into account. We were able to make some plays in the middle portion of the game but just terrible execution down the stretch, two guys covering the same receiver on that fourth down play and that ultimately decided the game.

Q: Amare Snowden, second-year starter for you guys, saw some playing time but did not start and wasn't involved very much. Is that the new corner group going forward with Demario Starr and Watts McBride?
A: We're going to play the guys that make plays. [Snowden] got into the game and I'll need to watch the tape to see what he was able to accomplish and we'll go from there. I'm not really into this whole starter business right now, we'll play the guys that are playing well and the ones that aren't, we aren't going to play them. This isn't pop warner with MPRs and all that crap. If you're not good enough or not playing well enough, you just won't play.

Upcoming Schedule
vs. #2 USC (9-1)
vs. Minnesota (4-6)

Coach Singleton's Notes:
‣ Definitely a winnable matchup, even with their ranking and record
‣ The talent on offense isn't overwhelming but they are well rounded with few weaknesses
‣ Sayin is a wizard in that pocket, need to get him off platform and force him to check down, consistently
