Wipe em off the face of the earth
Didn’t…quite do that, but it was fairly satisfying to get the shutout after all my special teams woes. They blocked my first
FG attempt and I missed the first XP :rg3:

Haha. As an Oklahoma fan I grew a hatred for them in the mid 2000’s.
That makes a lot of sense lol they were very hateable when Carroll was there.

Tune up game, let it rip

Not the earth-shattering results I thought we were going to get, but fair enough. A win's a win.
Yeah the offense was… not ideal. I was pretty happy with how the D played - I’m loving the 4-2-5 so far. I’m trying to stay “disciplined” and not (yet) fall back on my defensive default of custom playbooked Multiple D.

I need every single-game record broken by Horton in this game
Well, it wasn’t quite that prolific, but 100+ and 2 TD wasn’t shabby. He was certainly the best player on the field, lol.

it's a W but you'd really hope for a more convincing one there
Yeah, we were able to comfortably get away with a few things here that could bite us moving forward. A 40% Redzone % is simply not good enough, and that’s without turning the ball over too.

I just really suck at the kicking in this game still lol.

stats looked good tho. horton already 2 tuds. love to see it
:yep: let’s see how good of a season we can get him. Lord knows he’s going to see the ball a lot because he’s by far the best player on this offense. I don’t even call routes for him (nor do I generally do a good job of feeding the ‘X’) - he’s just that open

Guess I'll have to keep feeding Horton then :mischief:

Been busy the last few days, but wanted to get something up here.
So I didn't really mess around with adding the stats how I'd like - they were always too small to really read on the player cards themselves, and the bottom space looked empty AF when I removed the last week portion. I do prefer the new font I tried out, though.

So I need to workshop that graphic a bit but didn't want to get too caught on that. On to the next iteration! And to the Rocky Mountain Showdown here

Colorado State is always a team in the mix in my current dynasty. The matchups with Coach Prime are going to be fun.

But to echo what others have said, would have liked to see a more convincing win against FCS...but a dub is a dub

3 possesion shutout isn't too shabby IMO - but I am a bit concerned for my ability to score, lol

Love that prognostication for the future lol the university could use a break in their favor :drose:
A dub is a dub indeed... at least the defense looks ready for stiffer competition!
