‣ NFL 2025 Regular Season, Week 8 - Lucas Oil Stadium, Indianapolis, Indiana
(3-5) Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts (2-6)

IND | 7 | 14 | 7 | 0 | 28
Colts ride Daniel Jones’ debut to 28-23 win over Titans
The Colts turned to Daniel Jones after benching Anthony Richardson, and the veteran delivered in his first start. Jones threw three touchdowns on just 21 attempts, turning into a surprising shootout with Cam Ward, who rebounded from his worst career outing with 386 yards and three scores.
The game’s turning point came early with tight end Chigoziem Okonkwo who caught six passes in the first quarter, but a fumble in the red zone swung momentum, and he exited shortly after with an injury. Tennessee’s two first-half turnovers left them chasing.
Ward kept the Titans alive with second-half strikes to Calvin Ridley and Elic Ayomanor, but Indianapolis’ balanced offense and D.J. Giddens’ late carries allowed the Colts to bleed the final two minutes and close it out.

NFL Draft Big Board -- Wide Receiver

Tennessee Titans busy at trade deadline as they deal veterans Quandre Diggs, Sebastian Joseph-Day and Tyler Lockett
The Tennessee Titans' front office had a busy last few hours prior to the NFL trade deadline, shipping safety Quandre Diggs to Las Vegas for a fourth round pick and sent defensive tackle Sebastian Joseph-Day to the San Francisco 49ers for a third and fourth round pick along with receiver Tyler Lockett to the Pittsburgh Steelers for a third round pick.
All three players were veterans that were on the final year of their contract and in Lockett's case, had signed a one-year deal with the team in free agency this past spring. The Titans elevated receiver Xavier Restrepo from their practice squad, signed defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse from Green Bay's practice squad and free agent safety Isaiah Simmons to fill their roster spot.
Diggs, who was in his second season with the team, has 38 tackles on the season along with an interception. He had been rotating at safety with rookie third round pick Kevin Winston Jr. who figures to play a more prominent role with Diggs' departure. The same can be said for second-year nose tackle T'Vondre Sweat whose played 286 snaps this season compared to Joseph-Day's 487 snaps on the season. Joseph-Day is in the midst of a career year with the Titans with a career high 7.5 sacks. His previous career high was three sacks in 2023 during his first stint with the 49ers.
Lockett had scored a touchdown in four consecutive games but had begun to split reps with rookie Chimere Dike who has yet to catch a pass this season.
