Difficulty: All-American
Gameplay Sliders: Slightly modified version of Matt10's
XP Sliders: Custom set (mostly a mix of Funkycorm's and Ratings Matter Project from OS)
Auto Subs: 75/80 baseline like the good ol days, then tweaked for some positions (QB, DL)

House Rules:
- Overall principle: avoiding cheese. I'll add/adjust rules here as appropriate
- Only reasonable position swaps. No swapping positions to cheese badges. Ensure players are of reasonable height and weight for a position.
- Don't cheese recruiting. The amount of unrecruited 4/5 stars has been much lower than NCAA14 in my experience, but they do happen. Don't take advantage, unless it's a realistic scenario (i.e. in-state recruit or "family" [same last name, hometown as player on team]). Stick to realistic recruits for team/program level
- Realistic Redshirting. Don't redshirt anyone on two deep, and attempt to maximize PT (4 games) for players who do redshirt. Prioritize redshirting freshman / incoming players.
- Diverse playcalling - avoid exploiting money plays. This one's likely going to be a judgment call as I get more experience in this one. I do still avoid running 4 verts on general principle, so I don't know how money it still is. General idea is to have a wider playbook than like 5 plays
- No convincing players to stay - there's already not enough roster turnover in the game compared to real College Football. Figure that I should let it be as chaotic as I can allow.
- No cutting players - this means I’m limited in scholarships to the size of the outgoing class. There’s the cheese element to over-recruiting (thankfully, the game at least now forces freshman scholarships to be honored for at least a year, like IRL). But honestly, while they may just be virtual representations, I just don’t have the heart to do it.
- Attempt to match CSU's future schedule as closely as possible, using their 2025 schedule and their future scheduled games
- Remove any auto-assigned games vs FCS teams (potential exceptions for matchups due to above)
- Play as many rivals as possible as often as possible while following the above rules.

Background: The game between Colorado State and in-state rival Colorado, now dubbed the Rocky Mountain Showdown, began in 1893. The rivalry series was continued annually until 1958, then was resurrected in 1983. Since 1998, the game has been held mostly in Denver. Since moving to Sports Authority Field at Mile High, the teams have consistently played before the largest crowds in state history to witness a college sporting event. On August 31, 2009, Colorado State and Colorado signed a 10-year contract extension of the Rocky Mountain Showdown which brought the game back to Denver's Sports Authority Field at Mile High from 2010 to 2019. The 2020 game, scheduled to be played at Canvas Stadium, was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. After this the rivalry was once again dormant until the 2023 game at Folsom Field, and the two teams met again at Canvas Stadium in 2024. The next scheduled meeting between the two teams is in 2029, in Fort Collins.

The rivalry began in 1899. Since 1968, the schools have battled for possession of the Bronze Boot traveling trophy. The bronzed battle boot was worn in Vietnam by Colorado State alumnus Dan Romero

#3* - While his No. 3 jersey number is not retired by Colorado State, Myers' jersey is displayed alongside the retired numbers under the press box in Canvas Stadium in honor of his collegiate accomplishments. During Myers' four years as a Ram, the team improved significantly, compiling a 10–2 record and winning an outright WAC championship in 1994 as well as an 8–4 record and a share of the WAC title in 1995. He was a first-team All-WAC selection for four consecutive seasons (1992–1995) and received seven All-conference selections (4 in defense and 3 as a return specialist);the only player in the history of the WAC to achieve that distinction. He finished with 1,332 career punt return yards (conference record), a 15.9-yard punt return average (school record), 3 punts returned for touchdowns (school record), 295 tackles and 15 interceptions
#14 - Lt. Col. John Mosley was the first black football player at Colorado State (then Colorado A&M) since 1906, as well as wrestling for the school. As a football player, he lettered for three years in a row, becoming the first black letterwinner in the program's history. After graduating, Mosley enrolled in the Tuskegee Flight training center and became a bomber pilot, serving in Korea and Vietnam. In 2011, Colorado State developed the Lt. Col. John Mosley Mentoring Program as a resource for black student-athletes. Mosley died on May 22, 2015. His number was retired across all Colorado State sports on September 7, 2024.
#21 - Eddie "Twinkle Toes" Hanna was one of two black players on the 1947 Colorado A&M team (along with George Jones) at a time when many college teams were still completely white. Despite this, Hanna was widely popular in the locker room and on campus. A talented athlete, Hanna looked to be on pace to play professional football upon his graduation, but unexpectedly died from suspected cardiac arrest following the first game of the 1949 season against Colorado College in Colorado Springs, Colorado. His number was immediately retired following his death, and no player has worn it since.
#48 - Thurman "Fum" McGraw earned All-American awards in football (1948, 1949), track (discus, 1949) and wrestling (1948). He was the first consensus All-American in CSU football history and the only athlete in school history to be awarded All-American in three different sports. McGraw was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the 1950 NFL draft and was voted to the Pro Bowl his rookie year. In 1981, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame and was inducted into the Colorado State University Athletics Hall of Fame in the 1988 inaugural class. McGraw died in 2000 at the age of 73. The modern-era Colorado State football program has a tradition of bringing McGraw's jersey on the road to away games.

and... with this as one last backup... that should be all the reserved posts I'll want. Gonna work on filling these bad boys in here as well as getting a roster/schedule up and ready
Finally got CFB25 and quickly felt the need to rep my Rams on the virtual gridiron, especially with how good of a choice they are for a build in this year's game. Don't call it a comeback, but should be fun.
