Coach Singleton's Post Game
Q: We saw you get pretty emotional on the sideline, after both interceptions late in the fourth quarter. We know this is about the team and their success but did beating USC, your alma mater, add any emotions to the game?
A: Whenever you play a top two team in the country, it's going to be a packed stadium and there's a lot of emotions that come with that. As coaches, we bottle that up and try our best to remain calm at all times but in that moment, it certainly meant a lot to me because I know how much work our guys have put in and I know that they're just as good as all those teams ranked ahead of us.

Q: How big is it having a guy like Taylor Medina on the defense?
A: Best safety in the country, best player in the country, point blank period.

Coach Singleton's Notes:
‣ Potential let down game after last week's win. Need to come out strong.
‣ Their offensive line was ransacked by the transfer portal and graduation with us plucking two of their starters.
‣ Emery Godfrey gave us fits last year, rushing for over 100 yards. With the offensive line taking a step back, should be able to bottle him up.
‣ Not much of a role for Fame Ijeboi this season but continues to be a threat out of the backfield when he's in the game with his speed.
