I know I really enjoyed 2k20. Can't remember many big issues myself
Depends of what you feel are cons. For me, I mostly let the games play out CPU vs CPU so I've found a solid set of sliders that give me "realistic" stats, and I've tweaked player tendencies over time to help flesh out the gameplay. If I had to name an immediate con, I don't enjoy the CPU logic when it comes to in-game substitutions. You can either use the Rotation Timeline and they won't sub a player out if he's in foul trouble; or you don't and the Coach will play the 12th man off the bench that you have set for playing 0 minutes.

Surprised the game showed him no love, was not in MVP consideration. The five finalists were Westbrook, Harden, Lillard, Trae, and AD if I'm not mistaken.
Either way he benefited from a healthy-ish Kawhi and scoring overall seemed more spread out this year compared to 2019-20.

Editor's note: This isn't my preferred style of post. But I feel like I take a very long time to update and I don't want to lose engagement as a result. 2k20 isn't the only game I play and even outside of playing video games I am spending more time in other areas. That leaves me with what I'm able to do at the pace I can balance doing so. I like being able to put the graphics together, and while that process doesn't always take too long, getting a week's worth of information from the game can take me a while when I like looking at details. Whether it's good or not or matters, who knows. Anyways, I wanted to explain the change in posting format because I wasn't sure how I wanted to post the playoffs. Figuring that out could start a spiral of tinkering and I don't want to spend even more time trying to create a that routine. I would want to make graphics at a decent pace while also still personally liking the final product. So if you are following after all that, enjoy this alternate reality 2021 NBA playoffs. I'm excited to get to the offseason and use a lot of information I've learned about contracts and listening to NBA podcasts to use, but I'm just as excited for the playoffs and this is all unscripted despite my influences. I've rambled enough.

FRIDAY / APRIL 23

- Russell Westbrook (35 points, 11 rebounds, five assists) and Zach LaVine (37 points, three rebounds, six assists) shine in their first postseason together, and yet Philadelphia withstood the assault and got 50 points from their bench as the 76ers steal Game 1 116-108. Ben Simmons recorded 22 points, eight rebounds, and five assists while Joel Embiid added 18 points and 15 rebounds.

- Victor Oladipo kicks off the playoffs with a bang, setting an Indiana Pacers record with 45 points along with four rebounds and six assists as Indiana steals Game 1 117-110 over Atlanta. Reggie Miller previously held the record with 41 points on two occassions, but Oladipo went 16-of-30 from the floor and 9-of-17 from three in what is expected to be a tight contest between two teams separated by just a game in the standings. Trae Young had 35 points and four assists, but his efforts go for naught.

- C.J. McCollum (33) & Damian Lillard (31) led Portland to a 112-101 win over New Orleans in Game 1. The Pelicans enter the postseason with Zion Williamson sidelined since last week with a sprained left elbow and he isn't expected to return unless this series can reach six or seven games. Meanwhile Brandon Ingram is only able to muster 18 points and nine rebounds in the loss.

- Denver knew they would need their A game in a first round series against the defending champs, and they executed to perfection in Game 1. A 123-103 win over the Lakers came on the backs of 31 points and nine assists from Jamal Murray; Aaron Gordon's 30 points and 12 rebounds, and a near 20 point, 20 rebound, triple double from Nikola Jokic. LeBron and AD combined from just 41 points on 16-of-40 shooting and 6-of-18 from deep.

SATURDAY / APRIL 24

- Milwaukee overwhlems Toronto, leading by as many as 36 points in their 122-89 Game 1 victory. Khris Middleton scores 22 of his 30 points in the second half, while the Bucks outscore the Raptors 48-26 in the paint thanks to 24 points from Giannis Antetokounmpo. A large amount of eyes are on Giannis and his impending free agency, but for now the Bucks look to audition to keep him as they chase a championship. Fred VanVleet led Toronto with 26 points, while Pascal Siakam added 20 points and 12 rebounds.

- Brooklyn had the best record in the NBA this season and the best offensive rating along with it. And yet, no one was prepared for rookie Cole Anthony to show out in his postseason debut, dropping 35 points to lead Orlando to stunning blowout 116-95 win over the Nets. Brooklyn shot just 41% from the floor, with James Harden scoring 24 of his 29 points in the second half to try and rally the Nets from a lead as big as 24 points.

- Kawhi Leonard was ready to take on his former team as he dropped the second most points in Clippers playoff history with a 45-point effort. Unfortunately, he would go 0-from-5 from three, the Clippers would shoot just 4-of-21 from beyond as a team and San Antonio walked out the Staples Center with a 117-99 victory. The Spurs had six players score at least 14 points, led by 20 from Derrick White.

- Donovan Mitchell made his season debut after being sidelined since last February recovering from an ACL tear, but unfortunately for the top-seed Utah Jazz the rhythm seemed to take too long to find itself as Minnesota steals Game 1 133-108. The Timberwolves will out running, scoring 30 points on fast breaks and getting three 20-point scoring efforts from the likes of Jordan McLaughlin (25), Anthony Edwards (21), and Karl-Anthony Towns (21). D'Angelo Russell has been out since mid-March with torn right elbow ligament and is expected to not return for the postseason.

Anthony Edwards named 2020-21 Rookie of the Year, Headlines First Team All-Rookie

In a close race, Minnesota Timberwolves wing Anthony Edwards was named the NBA's Rookie of the Year for the 2020-21 season. His biggest competitor was LaMelo Ball of the Charlotte Hornets, who will join Edwards on the First Team All-Rookie Team along with Onyeka Okongwu of the Oklahoma City Thunder, Tyrese Haliburton of the New Orleans Pelicans and Killian Hayes of the Detroit Pistons. Edwards averaged 31.6 minutes and played in all 82 contests this season, finishing the season as the only rookie to average at least 20 points per game. The 3rd overall pick is currently helping his team in their first round playoff matchup against the Utah Jazz, who they stunned in Game 1 to take an early lead. The award is expected to presented to Edwards prior to Game 4 next Friday night.

Ball was seemingly in the lead of the Rookie of the Year race around All-Star Weekend, but March was not kind to the 5th overall pick. A season low 14.8 PPG and a drop from shooting 42% from three in February to 31% were the biggest factors that allowed arguments between Ball and Edwards to go at length. Ball recorded 12 double-doubles this season and led all rookies in assists with 6.3. Hayes was second in assists while Haliburton was third, while Okongwu led all rookies in rebounds with 10.3.

The second team All-Rookie Team was highlighted by 1st and 2nd overall picks James Wiseman of Memphis and Deni Avdija of Washington. Phoenix's Obi Toppin made the list allowing all of the first five picks to make either All-Rookie Team, while lottery pick Cole Anthony has taken advantage of opportunities in Orlando. Rounding things out was a late draft pick - Desmond Bane was selected 24th in the first round - that saw frequent opportunities on young team in the Thunder that hopes to continue to find pieces to pair with their young star in Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.

PLAYOFFS DAY 3 | SUNDAY APRIL 25, 2021

Chicago bounces back in Game 2 to win 114-107 and even the series at 1-1. MVP frontrunner Russell Westbrook and Zach LaVine continue to led the charge for the Bulls, as Westbrook led all scorers with 29 points, seven rebounds, and five assists. LaVine added 24 points and five assists in the win as the series now moves to Philadelphia for two games. No member of the 76ers managed to score 20 points, with Ben Simmons leading them with 19 points, nine rebounds, and four assists. Joel Embiid had 16 points, 11 rebounds, five assists, and six turnovers in the loss.

Atlanta will even their series with Indiana at 1-1 after a 119-107 victory, led by a career night from Bogdan Bogdanovic. The 4th year pro from Serbia scored a career high 35 points along with five rebounds and six assists, largely being set up by All-Star Trae Young who finished with 29 points, six rebounds, and 14 assists. De'Andre Hunter added 20 points for Atlanta, while Indiana was led by Malcolm Brogdon and his 28 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Domantas Sabonis recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Victor Oladipo added 15 points of just 5-of-22 shooting.

Damian Lillard ties a Portland playoff record for most field goals made in a game, as his last shot was a go-ahead basket to give Portland a 112-111 win over New Orleans and a 2-0 series lead. Lillard was 18-of-31 from the floor and 6-of-10 from three, scoring 42 points and adding eight assists in the win. His 18 field goals ties LaMarcus Aldridge, who scored 43 off 18-of-28 shooting when the Trail Blazers defeated Houston in Game 2 of their 2014 First Round series. C.J. McCollum added 32 points in 31 minutes for Portland, and Brandon Ingram once again led New Orleans with 25 points, nine rebounds, and four assists.

LeBron James and Anthony Davis lead the way for the Lakers as LA beats Denver 110-103 and evens the series at 1-1. James and Davis combined for 50 points, while Davis stuffed the stat sheet with 16 rebounds, three steals, and four blocks. Wesley Matthews added 19 points off five made threes as the Lakers shot just 34% from deep. Denver was led by Aaron Gordon's 24 points and eight rebounds, and Nikola Jokic's 18 points and 13 assists in the loss.
