(12-2) New York Knicks | 24 | 20 | 19 | 29 | 92
(8-7) Los Angeles Clippers | 13 | 21 | 26 | 25 | 85
Intuit Dome, Inglewood, CA
LOS ANGELES (AP) The New York Knicks left the Big Apple for a one game road trip to face the Los Angeles Clippers. Los Angeles has been working to stay above .500, winning their last two games at home before facing the Knicks. The game started out business as usual for the Knicks, as they took a 9-0 lead early and managed to maintain a double-digit gap through the first half. The Clippers turned things around in the third quarter, tightening up their defense, capitalizing on offense to bring themselves within three points going into the fourth quarter, despite a slow night from Bronny James who finished with just 6 points. Clippers’ rookie Trent Starks had a big second half, scoring 12 of his 15 points, and hitting a game tying three point shot in the fourth quarter. Los Angeles went 7 of 12 from beyond the arc in the second half. The Knicks mounted a late surge with just over two minutes to play to pull off a clutch win.
Stanley Henderson on his fit in Los Angeles: It’s coming along, the coaches are kind of letting me find my way. I don’t feel restricted about what I can do out there. We’re about a fourth of the way through the season, we’re above five hundred. It has the potential to get better as we learn each other.
Knicks’ coach Stephen Silas on close victory: This is why we play the game, right? Los Angeles looks to be on the right track. We were prepared for their length on the inside with [Harry]Giles and [Leonard] Miller. But it was the shooting that took us by surprise. But the guys rallied.

(9-7) Minnesota Timberwolves | 23 | 24 | 20 | 18 | 85
(13-2) New York Knicks | 20 | 27 | 32 | 17 | 96
Madison Square Garden, New York, NY
NEW YORK (AP) The Minnesota Timberwolves refused to go away quietly against the New York Knicks. Minnesota jumped out to a slim, early lead in as Anthony Edwards put up 12 points in the first quarter. The New York Knicks looked out of sorts on defense and found themselves down by three points at the end of the first. Noah Baldwin put the team on his back, scoring an unanswered five points in the final forty seconds of the first half to tie the game, starting with a big dunk on Cam Johnson.
New York’s bigs turned the tables in the second half, leading the rally against Minnesota as Yves Missi and Obi Toppin combined for 16 points in the third quarter playing a huge part in New York extending their lead. New York continued to lock Minnesota up on defense holding them to 7 of 17 from the field in the third quarter. The Knicks lost Chet Holmgren late in the fourth quarter.
Coach Silas on Chet Holmgren’s injury: We haven’t gotten word from the medical staff just yet, so I won’t offer up any speculation at this point.
Yves Missi on third quarter rally: We knew we had to lock in. Coach told us we were playing soft in the paint and we couldn’t argue with him.
Noah Baldwin on holding Anthony Edwards to 10 points in second half: The game plan was to keep fresh legs on Ant. Can’t let up on that guy. Credit to the guys for keeping the defensive intensity high.

(14-2) New York Knicks | 25 | 31 | 29 | 34 | 119
(5-12) Seattle Supersonics | 15 | 27 | 21 | 24 | 87
Climate Pledge Arena, Seattle WA
SEATTLE (AP) NBA rookies and former Olimpia Milano teammates, Giuseppe Datome (11.5ppg, 8.5apg) and Angelo Messina (14ppg, 8rpg) faced off tonight in Seattle. Datome was held to only six points in the loss. Seattle got off to a quick start, but it didn’t last long as they saw their five point lead turn into an eight point deficit before the first quarter ended. Knicks’ Despite the slow start from Noah Baldwin in this one, he kept the ball moving, having five assists to go along with seven points in the first half. New York Knicks cranked up the offensive energy in the second half, going on a 25-9 run to get started, burying three pointer after three pointer. The Knicks drained a total of 20 shots from beyond the arc in the win. Seven of those deep shots belonged to Remy Benoit on his way to a 32 point game.
Angelo Messina on his talk with former teammate Giuseppe Datome: We hadn’t really spoken much since the Draft being on different sides of the country. He called last week and asked for any tips on Noah. I told him to get some rest.
Noah Baldwin on his slow start: I wasn’t worried about that. We were up like what? Fourteen points? I’m not gonna stress out over only having seven points. The buckets came to me in the end, right? We got the win. That’s the important thing.
Stephen Silas on Remy Benoit's big performance: Remy is a key part of our offense and tonight was his night. Everything was falling and the guys kept the ball in his hands.
