December/January Update

Notes:
- Solid start, still Top 10.
- Wished to see a better performance against Georgetown

January/February Update:

Notes:
- Really good two months. We're playing well, and hopefully carry it into March.
- Knocked off Bama, been a thorn lately.
- Finished tied for 1st in the SEC. Projected #2 seed again

2027 Tennessee Volunteers - 30-8 National Champions

- Wow, what a ride.
- Really thought we were headed for another disaster after getting picked off by Missouri
- Then I thought we had a bad draw. We had UNC, Kansas, Purdue, Louisville, and Duke in our bracket.
- Then upsets started coming along, and we got some great draws.
- Not to mention in the other bracket, 13 Belmont made an improbable run to the final four, who we would meet.

- Lastly, we had a 90% chance to LOSE against a stacked Texas team. They only played 7 guys, but they were all studs. They play a slow style of offense with a 2-3 zone. It's a perfect match up for us with unathletic guards(While being really good players).
- We had a 6 point lead with 2 minutes left, and nearly blew it. Scored the final 2 to win it with 5 seconds left to win the Natty.

Quad 1 Games

SEC Standings

Tournament Upsets/Cinderella's
13 Wofford over 4 Florida, eventually to the Sweet 16
12 Wichita State over 5 Baylor, and 4 Duke
8 St. Marys to the Elite 8

Phoenix Region was wild
13 Belmont over 4 VCU, 5 UCONN, 9 Tulsa, 11 Oral Roberts to go to the Final Four
11 Oral Roberts over 6 Arizona, then good draws to make it to the Elite 8
14 Illinois Chicago over 3 Utah

- Still trying to find the flow on offense.
- Not the smoothest of starts, but I believe we're still tweaking to find the right balance.

I am wondering that myself, I'm wondering if we are sacrificing too much for defensive efficiency.
