Back At Home.

After our 117-84 point victory over the Cavaliers, it was time to head back to the house for the night.

When I walked in the front door, I was greeted by all of my children waiting for me.

"Hey! What are you guys still doing up?" I asked as I looked for the babysitter.

"Hey Dad! The babysitter's still here.. She just fell asleep in the movie theater downstairs.." Autumn said to me.

"Mm I see.. Guess I'll have to go wake her up.."

"But before you do that, Dad. There's a surprise for you upstairs!" AJ added.

"Surprise for me?.. What are you kids up too.."

They all laughed as I followed them upstairs towards my office.

"In there!" Autumn said.

The kids took off downstairs while I waited for the surprise. Within seconds of opening the door, a voice I hadn't heard in a while shouted my name on the other side.

"Hello, Tiny Jimenez!"



"Faria!" I shouted back. "What in the world are you doing here?!"

"Do you mean.. in your home?"

"No.. Well yes, but what are you doing here on Earth?"

"I went looking for answers & I found them.. Once I left Earth, I headed in the direction of the only place I wanted to find.. Home."

"And?!"

& it was exactly how I left it.. Desolate. Depressing.. Completely gone.."

"Ah.. Faria, I'm so sorry.."

"When I left here, I had some hope that I would find something. A lead.. Something.. But there was nothing. I sat there for a moment to think of what to do next.. & then it hit me.. My home isn't searching aimlessly through the universe for others like me.. My home is right here on Earth.. Here with you.. With the 'Jimenez Gang'."

"Well I can confirm, the Jimenez Gang has missed you too.. Wow, well I'm completely shocked. It's so good to see you!" I said as I went in for a hug.
