Lakers comeback victory over Hawks shows improvement

This seven-game road trip might've been the best thing to happen to the Lakers, as they have played some excellent basketball. Trae Young made his return to Atlanta and gave the sold-out crowd quite a show, especially in the fourth quarter. Down by 11 at halftime, 55-44, the Lakers went into the fourth quarter down by eight, 82-74. Trae Young scored 17 points in the fourth quarter, while Andre Drummond scored four points and grabbed 13 rebounds. Young scored a go-ahead layup with 18.0 seconds left and as Dejounte Murray drove to the basket in the final seconds, Andre Drummond was there to swat the ball away as the Lakers held on for a one-point victory, 102-101. Young led the Lakers with 26 points, two rebounds, seven assists and one steal. LeBron James finished with 21 points, four rebounds, five assists, and one steal. Anthony Davis scored 19 points, grabbed 17 rebounds and blocked two shots, as he got himself in foul trouble early in the game. Dejounte Murray led the Hawks with 31 points, three rebounds, six assists, four steals and two blocks. Jalen Johnson scored 20 points, hitting 5-of-9 shots from the floor, but was 4-of-8 from the three-point line. Former Laker, Austin Reaves finished with 16 points, three rebounds, and six assists. The Lakers will have no time for rest as they get back at it tomorrow against the Miami Heat.
