So what you're looking at is a continuation of my Derek Baldwin saga (origins NBA 2k14). Derek is a 42 year old, 12-year NBA vet. This is the 2029-30 season, Derek's nephew, Noah, is an up and coming star playing for the Knicks.

Uncle has won four straight championships with the Brooklyn Nets (eliminated his nephew in 6 games in the ECF in Noah's rookie season last year) and signed with the Knicks during free agency for the chance to play with his nephew before retiring.

When I started this on 2K16, I simmed ahead 7 seasons and POR drafted him. I don't know how long he's gonna stay. Especially after that early playoff exit last year......
