For the Los Angeles Lakers to win their fourth game in a row they would have to find someway to stop Ja Morant. Morant went for 53 points the last time these two teams played each other and tonight Morant went for 57 points, hitting 21-of-32 shots and 14-of-18 from the free throw line and also dished out 11 assists. Jaren Jackson Jr. scored 17 points and pulled down eight rebounds. Clint Capela had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. Desmond Bane and rookie Robert Dillingham each had 10 points. LeBron James led the Lakers with 41 points, knocking down 14-of-22 shots and 12-of-16 from the free throw line. Trae Young finished with 27 points, three rebounds, eight assists and one steal. Buddy Hield making another start for the injured Max Christie finished with 17 points, six rebounds, and five assists. Both Bronny James and Anthony Davis each had 15 points. The Lakers will try to keep this momentum going when they host the Golden State Warriors.

The Los Angeles Lakers won their fifth straight game with a 113-105 victory over the Golden State Warriors. Stephen Curry played the entire game and scored a career-high 70 points, hitting 26-of-41 shots from the field, 13-of-26 from the three-point line. Andrew Wiggins added 15 points and 3 assists, hitting 5-of-6 three-point shots. Jonahtan Kuminga rounded up the Warriors in double-figures with 11 points. LeBron James led the Lakers with 28 points, five rebounds, five assists and two blocks. Buddy Hield, shot a perfect 5-of-5 from the three-point line and six-of-eight from the floor altogether for 17 points. Anthony Davis scored 16 points, grab seven rebounds and dished out eight assists. The Lakers will head up north to take on the Golde State Warriors in the second game of a back-to-back set.
