Raising the bar up in here.
I can see how that could get frustrating, especially when the man is putting up 44 on you
"Ojeleye went 16-17 from the free throw line...Ojeleye is averaging 16.8 free throws over the last 5 games and leads the league in 10.3 per game"

Thoughts on the off-season/pre-season/early season action:
- My Celtics landing Jaylen Justice!!!! Please be the piece to finally put this franchise over the top with Swift & Carter, though that depth is bleak.
- Love seeing Ibrahim Mobley still kicking around in Indiana. Loved his game and thought he was destined for big things in Golden State, but he served his purpose for the Warrior dynasty
- Reading the Tier 5 teams, some of those are really devoid of talent. I was shocked to see that there was a Tier 6 even lower!
- Jair Dooling being named Most Improved Player twice gave me a good chuckle
- It's been a minute since I've read a lot of this thread (a damn shame, if I do say so myself!) but remind me is Jevon Boston Jr. the USC kid that stayed in school an extra year because he wanted to play in LA?
- I'm a big fan of what DeeDee McDyess seems to be about and hope that he blossoms into the next Rolle/Justice type star guard in the league
- Since he entered your universe, I feel like Robert Mack has been criminally underrated as he's been sorta lost in Charlotte at times. Flat out stud!
- Oh Lord, there's a Tier 7?!?
- LaMelo and Tatum playing out their careers together in Cleveland. What did they do to deserve this?!?
- I have to support Amari Swift but I feel like he's put up a lot of empty stats in his career thus far.
- Stokes' hair is awesome.
- Deonte Dixon ascending to #1 player in the league is incredible. I would love to see him and Darius team up one day...
- Insane opening game against the Cavs!
- Those Grizzlies jerseys are sexy as hell!
- Stokes clearly taking that matchup against Rolle personal
- Rolle's jumper animation is just so quick and smooth
- Ojeleye and Dixon going at each other in the small ball minutes was a fun back-and-forth
- 4 straight losses and losing Pack, no bueno Papa
--------------------
I'm sure I have probably asked this before, but how do you determine which games you play throughout your schedule? I find I have to fight the urge of playing every game and giving up control of the schedule to allow the roster to play to its actual ratings rather than having my fingerprints on every game.

Appreciate it y'all. Loving the community in here and a chance to tell the story. Glad y'all enjoying the YT piece. It's gone through some iterations but I like where it's at right now.Chillcavern wrote: ↑12 Feb 2026, 22:04Raising the bar up in here.

Love all the comments. A lot to unpack so I'll just go one-by-one.GM Rizzo wrote: ↑13 Feb 2026, 09:20Thoughts on the off-season/pre-season/early season action:

Celtics were the big winners of FA for sure. Agreed that depth is dogwater but their stars are so good. Maybe it's a team that's just better built for the playoffs when the rotations get short. Skipping to your Swift point, it's not a terrible take, but he's a little young before that should be the take. I had it briefly, but he's in year six, so he's more a victim of his own talents and success.
Throwback name! Class of 2022, first fictional class in the universe. He was awesome for us, but I was in love with guards back when we traded him. He's had a tough end of his career, but a great one.
Tier 5, 6 and 7 are definitely lacking talent. We'll see how that goes...
I love that Dooling got it twice. Big part of that is due to the two 2k transfers, but I thought it was funny enough that it should stick around. Here we are, gotta be the only two-time winner of the award.
You got JBJ staying out of the NBA for an extra year to get to the Clippers right, but he went to play for Barcelona instead of going back to USC. That storyline was written before NIL became what it is today. He probably would've just stayed with the Trojans if NIL was as prominent.
McDyess is an animal. Incredibly hard to defend. Dubs got our work cut out for us defensively with all the elite PGs and Rolle being an average defender. A lot of really difficult matchups for us.
Robert Mack is a dog. For sure flown under the radar because of the Hornets. He may be pound-for-pound the best player in the game. Takes dudes off the dribble, shoots 3s. He's awesome.
LaMelo and Tatum just need to be bought out or traded. They're good, not great, but still too good to be on that Cavs squad.
Darius and Deonte would say the same thing.
On the question on the schedule and what games I play, when I was posting the season in nine game increments, I'd just pick one of those games to play and that would be the YouTube video. I tended to choose a good team so that 1, the games would be competitive and 2, the audience would see the other good teams in the league. Now that I'm doing highlights, I'm Simcasting every game and jumping in toward the end to get highlights - or if it's a blowout just grabbing a picture of the notable Warrior.
I feel you on fighting the urge to play every game. I've found Simcasting the games allows me to play as much as ever but not take so long to get through an 82 game schedule.
