End of Season Recap
United scored a league record 127 goals while Hojlund, Garnacho and Perri all took home individual awards.
Manchester United have capped off a season for the ages, securing the Premier League title with 95 points, and completing an unprecedented domestic and European treble of cups—the FA Cup, Carabao Cup, and the UEFA Europa League—while playing some of the most exhilarating football the league has seen in decades.
United’s dominance in the league was absolute. Posting a remarkable 29 wins, 8 draws, and just a single defeat, they finished seven points clear of Arsenal. Their 122 goals scored shattered expectations, powered by a lethal front three and Amorim’s relentless vertical attacking system.
Rasmus Højlund captured the Golden Boot with 31 goals in 37 matches, while Takefusa Kubo added 26 and contributed heavily as one of the league’s most devastating creators. Speaking of creators—Alejandro Garnacho etched his name into Premier League history, registering 23 assists, surpassing both Thierry Henry and Kevin De Bruyne’s long-standing joint record of 20.
Lucas Perri crowned an outstanding debut season by winning the Golden Glove with 15 clean sheets, anchoring the division’s best defence.
Cup competitions told the same story of United’s resurgence:
A 3–0 victory over Chelsea delivered the Carabao Cup in February.
A composed, professional performance saw them defeat Chelsea again in the FA Cup Final, lifting their second domestic trophy of the season.
And in Europe, United marched through the knockout rounds and dispatched their final opponents to lift the Europa League, restoring continental pride after UEFA controversially barred them from the Champions League this year.
Across Europe, the other major titles went to familiar powerhouses—PSG in France, Napoli in Italy, Bayern Munich in Germany, and Barcelona in Spain—while Atlético Madrid triumphed over Juventus in the Champions League Final.
But 2025/26 belongs unmistakably to Manchester United.
A reborn squad.
A record-breaking attack.
Three trophies lifted at Wembley.
One in Europe.
And a statement made to the rest of the football world:
Manchester United are back.
