Sabrina Wittmann is starting to make her mark on Tottenham after having a €45M transfer for Dortmund's Rico Lewis sanctioned. The club is in the midst of a major clearout, needing to remove several aging players who do not fit Wittmann's patented 4-2-2-2 system. But incomings are also needed. Spurs were weak at RB with just Djed Spence in the position, but in comes 23 year old English right back, Lewis, who is a phenomenon at #2.

Sabrina Wittmann brought Engel into the first team through the Ingolstadt academy early on in her tenure at the club back in 2024, and the two have been inseparable since. Engel became one of the best players in Germany, leading the team up through the divisions and eventually winning Bundesliga Player of the Season in 2026-27 with over 30 league goals and 20 league assists. He is still just 20 years old and has achieved so much, which is why he commanded a monstrous €175M fee. The player will start in his familiar RAM position under Wittmann and be given the prestigious #7 shirt at Tottenham, which he also wore at Ingostadt.
