In 1986, Denmark were 1-0 up against Spain, when Jesper Olsen, a former Ajax player, made such a pass to Emilio Butragueno to equalize. Spain eventually won 5-1 with Butragueno scoring 4, and such a pass has since been called "a Jesper Olsen" in Denmark. Something that I've always found to be quite unfair, reducing such a gifted footballers name to a poor back pass.

In 1999, another Jesper, winger and Ajax-player, Jesper Grønkjær, made a similar pass just 38 seconds into his national team debut. I've often thought that the similarity of their mistakes must have something to do with their first name. But now, seeing Ajax do the same mistake for you, perhaps Ajax is the connection here

That's sharp: both Jespers from Ajax. The older one immortal due to his legendary dual penalty together with Johan Cruijff...

In all fairness, with 9 points down and 3 games to go and down on goal diff by some 20 goals, there was no way to catch up this PSV. But that's the challenge ahead: with the strict budget rules I apply find players and build a team with whom I can bridge the gap of 12 points and 20 goals and challenge PSV next season and not make an idiot out of ourselves in UEFA Champions League.

I forgot about Haller, what an ending he had against you. A point was enough to keep your future under your own control though.

Playing a team much lower than you in the table with only a draw needed. This is a good position to be in for Champions League.

Cup Winner and best of the rest in the league. Not a bad season and still with room to progress further.

Looks like you could do with a bit more quality up front, not having anyone in the top 5 of goals nor assists in the league, also scoring the joint least league goals among the top 5 teams.
