Ingolstadt Break Transfer Record Again for Striker, Felipe Augusto


The Brazilian striker just edges the club's previous transfer record with a €4.6M fee paid to Cercle Brugge.

Despite the 30 year old Maximilian Dittgen's superb season last year, Ingolstadt wanted to bolster its frontline with someone quicker, younger and more dangerous as the club enters the Bundesliga 2. Enter Felipe Augusto. The 21 year old Brazilian striker stands 6'2 and is very strong, an aerial threat and quite quick as well. Augusto is a clinical finisher both with his feet and in the air and should make a perfect partner for Nicolo Tresoldi in the front two.
