Just 6 Races Remain In Formula 1 As Rookie' Noura Kassir Continues To Turn Heads.


It was nothing but support & hugs from the KICK' garage following Kassir's second straight podium finish in Singapore.

Looking back at the start of the F1 season, there were more questions than answers for KICK Sauber after they announced the signing of breakout F2 rookie' Noura Kassir. She steered her way to third place in the driver standings, as well as led ART Grand Prix to third place in the constructor standings.

But was she ready for the rigors of F1? Almost every team turned their head to signing the young prospect, including McLaren, who aided Kassir in her development through their driver academy.

Almost every team turned down signing Kassir. Except for KICK Sauber.

Fast forward 18 races & Noura sits with a comfortable 7th place position in the driver standings with 138 points, & while she has yet to win her first race in F1, she has managed to see the podium three times, including back to back third place performances in Azerbaijan & Singapore.

"This entire season has been a blur. It's flying by, no pun intended. I'm having fun, Kick is having fun. We're more than happy with the way this season is going." Noura told ESPN following her podium finish in Singapore.

Now with only 6 races left in the season, speculation is starting to rise. For all of the teams who weren't interested in Noura Kassir, well she's here & has proved that she can hang with the best drivers in the world.

Who will make the first offer & who will Kassir end up driving for next season? KICK may seem like the safe bet considering the expression, if it's not broken, don't fix it. She can return in her second season for KICK & potentially compete for a position in the top-5 for the driver standings.

Only time will tell. For now, we'll focus on the upcoming schedule as F1 returns to the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, Texas for round 19.

It's kinda crazy for me to realize I'm finishing my first F1 season when it felt like I wouldn't even continue past the F2 year.

This game is fun but icl.. I prefer speed over cornering (especially at KICK)
