I like that get the rivalry started early for Survivor Series! (6 months away lol)
RAW: Dolph Ziggler, Jeff Hardy, King Booker are in. Last spot will be decided by a match between Samoa Joe and Bulk Bronson on the next episode of RAW.
Smackdown: AJ Styles, Apollo and Big Show are in. Last spot I haven't decided who'll be in that match yet.

Goldberg and Edge faced off in advance of Money in the Bank for the championship. Berg was all over Edge and simply manhandling him, and looked to be en-route to an easy win, when Edge decided to roll out of the ring. Goldberg went after him and continued the onslaught, but Edge was able to stumble his way further and further away from the ring. When the referee reached a seven count, Goldberg realized he needed to get back into the ring or he'd lose, so he ran back in. But Edge didn't follow, instead the champion stood cowardly outside as the referee reached the 10-count, giving Goldberg the victory, but not the championship as it can't change hands on a count out. Goldberg was livid and Edge was all smiles, but that smile was wiped right off his face when Vince McMahon came out and announced that since Edge thinks he can weasel his way out of having proper matches, his face-off against Goldberg at Money in the Bank was now a No Holds Barred match, meaning no count outs and no disqualifications.

Prior to this match, Rikishi had a talk backstage with The Miz, who lost his match to Scott Hall last week. He told him to go back to the developmental and that he had replaced him with his old buddy, Scotty 2 Hotty, as part of the tag team. Not only that, he and Scotty would be facing the nWo tonight for the World Tag Team Championships. The Miz didn't seem pleased about this but packed his things and left the arena. Scotty started off the match against Kevin Nash, and despite having a massive size disadvantage, was able to put his quicks to good use against an aging Kevin Nash to gain the early advantage for his team. Nash was getting frustrate by Scotty, especially when he got hit with The Worm and eventually tagged in Scott Hall. Hall didn't fair much better. Scotty tagged in Rikishi and the two started working over Hall in their corner, to the point where he too had to make a tag out of desperation. Nash came in though and immediately caught Rikishi off guard with a massive Big Boot. Rather than going for the kill though, he started to showboat and mock Scotty 2 Hotty in the corner. This gave Rikishi time to recover, and when he did, Nash turned around. Scotty took advantage and kicked Kevin Nash in the back of the head, dazing him and forcing him to sit down in the corner... in perfect position from a Stinkface from Rikishi! Nash was disgusted by the move that Rikishi has been terrorizing him with for weeks, and simply couldn't regain focus, Rikishi wrapped him up for the pin while Scotty occupied Scott Hall, as Too Cool picked up a massive victory to become World Tag Team Champions.
After the match a pissed off Kevin Nash demanded a mic and said, "We quit! We're through! Wrestling's gone to shit these days, and we're just too old to deal with crap like Rikishi's... Stinkface or whatever he calls it. You want Too Cool as champs? Fine, you can have them, as for the nWo? We're done." Nash dropped the mic and he and Hall walked off, presumably never to return.

Bulk really showed off his dominance here. Though Samoa Joe had built up a reputation for himself in the independent scene, he clearly wasn't ready for a competitor with the combination of skill and strength that Bulk possessed. Bulk was on him from the moment the bell rang, and after tossing Joe all over the place, hit him with a Spear and followed that up with a Kudo Driver to get the victory and earn RAW's fourth and final Money in the Bank spot. With this poor showing, it's possible Samoa Joe won't be kept around on the RAW roster, as he was only signed to a short-term deal.

After the main event, the show surprisingly didn't come to a close. The focus turned to the jumbotron, where Dolph Ziggler could be seen walking around backstage. Out of nowhere, he was smashed from behind by a man wearing what looked like combat gear and a mask. After hitting Ziggler, the assailant removed his mask.. it was Mansa! Mansa threw Ziggler through a door into what should have been an empty locker room, but it wasn't. Inside that locker room were Kofi Kingston and R-Truth, also wearing full combat gear like Mansa. The three started a full on assault on Ziggler, beating the hell out of him by slamming him into the lockers and hitting him with any objects in site. WWE officials tried to make their way to the locker room to break things up but Mansa locked the door and wedged a steel chair under the handle. They continued to attack Ziggler. Dolph was bleeding profusely, but the trio didn't stop. At this point, Vince McMahon himself had come out to put a stop to this, and that's when Mansa finally spoke. "GIVE ME WHAT I WANT, VINCE! We're tired of waiting around for opportunities, we're tired of being second best. I demand my forty acres and a mule, I demand what I am owed! WE demand what we are owed!" Vince replied, "What the hell is it that you want, stop this!" Mansa refused and continued to attack Ziggler, who at this point was unresponsive. Vince finally got a clue and said, "Alright for God's sake, you can have his spot in the Money in the Bank match, just unlock this damn door before you kill the man." An evil smile broke across Mansa's face as he, Kofi and Truth stopped their attack and exited the locker room. Before leaving though he said one thing to Vince and the whole WWE Universe, "We are The Nation. An we no longer wait around for what we desire to be given to us. From now on, we TAKE what is ours."

Daniel Bryan looked to have a rematch with Finn Balor after losing to him last week thanks to some interference from Rey Mysterio. He wanted to show that without shenanigans, he was still the cruiserweight to beat in the division and the rightful champion. Bryan was cautious when the bell rang to make sure that Rey couldn't come attack him again, but there was no sign of the #1 contender. Bryan focused on Balor, though the Irish indies superstar had gotten the better of him last week, this time, at full strength, Bryan overmatched the newbie. They went back and forth for a while, but Bryan was able to gain the upperhand through his ground game. Then his strikes came into play, hitting Balor with the Yes Kicks and finishing him off with the Running Knee Strike. After the match, Bryan celebrated triumphantly with his title in hand but he was blindsided by Rey Mysterio. Rey then picked up the Cruiserweight Championship and lined up Daniel Bryan, before blasting him across the face with the belt. Rey then stood over the champ ominously with the belt in hand. What has happened to Mysterio? Could this be the scene at Money in the Bank?

Brock rushed the ring and mounted Angle and just started hammering him in the face with fists. When the referee finally separated the two of them the bell rang to start the matchup. Things were extremely close between Lesnar and Angle, with both men possession collegiate wrestling backgrounds that made them formidable mat technicians. Lesnar was the first to strike a major blow though. He hit Angle with his Suplex City series of German Suplexes, then tossed him out of the ring. Lesnar then cleared the announced table and lifted Angle up onto it, then brought him crashing back down with an F-5 through the table. Lesnar rolled back into the ring, content to win via count out, but Angle made it to his feet at the 8 second mark and back into the ring at 9. This seemed to infuriate Lesnar who went for a second F-5. But this one was countered by Angle who slid off Lesnar's shoulders and behind him and then rolled him up with a clever school boy pin. Lesnar's shoulders were pressed flat to the mat and he couldn't get out as Angle stole the victory with the pin. Big win for Angle heading into their match at the pay-per-view for the vacant WWE Championship.

Lashley came out to ringside to watch the Intercontinental Champion, Jericho, take on AJ Styles. Lashley's presence would play a role when Jericho took control of the matchup. He whipped AJ into the corner effortlessly then walked over to trash-talk a bit with Lashley. AJ tried to capitalize on this but Jericho was ready for it and kicked him hard in the abdomen. Y2J then locked AJ into the Walls of Jericho in the middle of the ring and forced Styles to tap while staring directly at Lashley and yelling at him that this would be his fate as well on Sunday.

Prototype and Christian had already lost their Money in the Bank Qualifying matches previously against AJ Styles and Apollo respectively, but both of them were given a second chance to prove themselves and earn the final spot in the competition. The contest started very back and forth with Prototype and Christian trading offense, both desperate to earn their way into the matchup. Things started to tilt Prototype's way when he hit a series of running clotheslines on Christian in the corner and then mounted him for a series of punches. Prototype tried to end it with the Spin-Out Powerbomb after that, but Christian reversed it into a Killswitch, however Prototype reversed that as well into a powerful DDT. He then climbed the top rope and hit a Diving Elbow Drop on Christian and waited for him to get to his feet before putting him back on the mat with a Spin-Out Powerbomb. 1, 2, 3... Prototype will join Apollo, Big Show and AJ Styles as the final Smackdown entrant in the Money in the Bank Ladder match.

In the locker room before this match started, American Alpha were seen having a conversation with Donny Zenk. Zenk made it clear to them that he liked that they stood for the flag and patriotism to the United States and he wanted to join them at ringside for their semi-final match. Undertaker and Kane were in control of this matchup for the majority of the contest, with their powerhouse styles proving to be a bit too much for Benjamin and Haas to handle. However, American Alpha, had the numbers game in their favour. Undertaker looked like he had full control of Charlie Haas and was ready to win the match after a Last Ride, but Zenk pulled the referee out of the ring to prevent him from making the three count. While that happened, Benjamin slipped a chair into the ring for Haas, who clocked a distracted Undertaker in the back of the head with it. When the referee finally returned to the ring, Benjamin and Haas were setting up a dazed Undertaker for their finishing move, Grand Amplitude. Kane couldn't make it to his partner in time as American Alpha got the pin and a huge victory over the Brothers of Destruction to advance to the WWE Tag Team Championship Tournament Finals at Money in the Bank to face D-Generation X.
