Yeah, the talent is definitely there — you can see it in flashes. If he cuts out the risky throws and just takes what’s there, he absolutely has the tools to take over games. And hey, if he dragged Louisville to a Natty in your Coastal save, I’ll take that omen any day.

For sure. You can’t complain about a win like that to open the year, but the turnovers are the one thing that’ll bite us if it doesn’t get cleaned up. Fix that, and this team suddenly looks a whole lot more dangerous.

If Baker goes full chaos mode, sure — but right now he’s doing just enough while the defense is carrying the heavy lifting. As long as he avoids the back‑breaking stuff, we’ll be fine.

Exactly. Solid showing, but the real measuring stick is coming. If we can replicate this balance once the SEC gauntlet hits, then we’re cooking.

Yep — not the prettiest, but you never apologize for a conference win. Handle business, move on, keep stacking them.

That’s the formula right now. Let the defense suffocate teams and ask Baker to manage the game, not win it by himself. If he stays within himself, this team’s ceiling stays high.
