Recruiting Philosophy
- Have an amount of players at each position based on scheme, recruit to always maintain that number as best as possible.
- Target Kansas Recruits First (No restrictions on star limits)
- After Kansas target the relative plains states and Texas/LA.
- No limits on 3 star recruits
- 4 star recruits have to start in the top 5 (may be adjusted later) to be recruited
- 5 star recruits have to be the top school to be recruited.
- Transfer portal philosophy is similar.
- The main idea here is that Kansas State recruits local, and doesn't get big names but makes the best of what they got
- NIL will be tailored to the above thought.
Gameplay Philosophy
- Starting out the offense will be dictated by the HC's philosophy.
- After that any replacement of the HC or OC will result in the new OC's philosophy.
- Try to keep the OC/HC in similar philosophies (Don't hire a run first OC under Lincoln Riley type of stuff) unless the HC is known as a defense guy and needs someone else to run the offense (Brent Venables type)
- I always pick from the suggested playcalls
- If facing a no huddle offense, I have to keep the same formation on defense and switch the page each play call.
- The rest will be determined as needed.
