A good start with the recruiting. I'm curious to see the offense with Moore. WSU used to be a big passing school but Kellen Moore is dynamic and creative. What will this Moore be like?

With the addition of Boise State, Fresno State, San Diego State,, Colorado State, Utah State and Texas State the Pac-12 now had 8 Football teams but Pac-12 Commish Bryan Scott knew they couldn't just settle from robbing the MWC if they had any hopes of one day building the conference back to a P5 status. After striking out with trying to add North Texas,, Memphis and Tulane from the American Conference, Scott reached out to former Pac-12 members once again. Cal and Stanford both jumped at the chance after the ACC lost it's battle to keep Clemson as the Tigers and Georgia Tech jump ship to the SEC well also making several changes with teams from the Big 12, as SMU heads to the Big 12 well UCF, and West Virginia join the ACC with Pitt jumping ship to the Big Ten. Now with 10 teams. Scott wanted to add 2 more..

Oregon, Washington, UCLA, and USC all shot down proposals to return stating their decision to stay unified in the Big Ten as the conference agreed to Divisions allowing the 4 teams to schedule each other every year to cut down travel costs.

Scott then reached out to Utah, Colorado, Arizona and Arizona State. The Wildcats were interested but didn't want to leave instate rival ASU in the Big 12.along.

Still needing 2 more teams, Scott went back to the American who was reeling after learning that Tulane was jumping to the SEC and North Texas was leaving for the Big 12,, they again reached out to Memphis but without a regional travel partner the Tigers said no, but after sitting down with school officials from Texas State, Scott reached out to Rice and UTSA., as Scott looked to expand even more into Texas.. The Roadrunners and Owls were onboard..

Here is a look at the final outcome as 2026 will feature a whole new landscape in every division. (**Teams that moved)

I plan on running these changes until the 2030 season. I will then re-evaluate the changes. I would love to get Washington back to the Pac-12 at some point but until then Oregon State and Boise State will become WSU conference rivals in a rivalry known as the PNW Cup.

Just listed it...

Overall I am pretty happy with the class. We still got some holes to fill but we got a solid foundation to build.. I will go more in detail about the roster during the 2026 Preview but right now the roster has 70 players and 34 of Freshman (25 True/7 Redshirt) so the roster is young and not alot of experience.

Kirby is know for his creative offense too.. Both at Fresno and at Missouri they had QB's who threw alot.. His playbook is alot of Pistol formation but Miller's background is Multi-book well at Boise State...I think Year 1 my plan is to run a mix of both playbooks... I personally really like UAB's playbook but it's what I have been using in all my past Dynasties so I want to play at least a season with a different book.. I also wouldn't be opposed to Moore/Miller to expand the playbook and bring more Air Raid back to Pullman like the "Mike Leach" years. But i don't think that fits my current QB situation and WR room depth.

I used the FAU Air Raid playbook in the final season with Coastal and it was a blast, just an idea

I like the additions to the Pac, but without Ore/Wash or UCLA/USC in there I think only Boise and Stanford are going to be any real competition

That's why I figure I will give it a couple of seasons. WSU is a (72 Overall right now)

Right now Cal (82) BSU (79) Fresno State (75) Stanford (74) and Oregon State (71) well Rice, San Diego State, UTSA are all (66) and Colorado State is a (64) Utah State (58) and Texas State (55). So I am going to assume that yes at some point I will need to boost the Pac-12 with higher rated schools if I am truly going to bring back a P5 type conference. For now I would say it's still a G6 probably more on the level of the American but better then the MWC, CUSA, MAC and Sun Belt.
