Lawrence sidelined for a month with collarbone injury, Huskies sign Dobbs

Trevor Lawrence looked the part against the Las Vegas Raiders, keeping the Toronto Huskies in the game despite several fumbles by his teammates. But when Lawrence went to tackle a Raider defender that was returning said fumble, Lawrence stayed on the floor.

Lawrence will miss four to six weeks with a broken collarbone with the team targeting a return against the Denver Broncos in week seven. Lawrence joins safety Keanu Neal and cornerback Chidobe Awuzi as newly acquired players that are currently sidelined.

The Huskies also signed quarterback Joshua Dobbs to the roster as Matt Barkley was already signed by another team. The plan is for Robert Griffin III to get the start but Dobbs could get some action should Griffin struggle.

it still feels like last year's team a bit with keanu and awuzi out in the secondary and now no lawrence which was supposed to be the switch for the offense.

On the good note, we might end up with a higher pick than if lawrence played the whole season since he was some serious holes still at tackle and secondary, long term.
