Rueben Bain and Mark Fletcher Jr. named captains as Titans announce captains for 2028 season
The Tennessee Titans announced their 2028 team captains on Wednesday at the Captains Dinner at the Grand Hyatt in downtown Nashville.

Quarterback Cam Ward, defensive tackle Jeffery Simmons, wide receiver Justin Jefferson and kicker Brandon Aubrey return as captains from last season while defensive end Rueben Bain Jr. and running back Mark Fletcher were named captain for the first time.

Bain was a first round pick in 2026, selected fourth overall where he had 9.5 sacks as a rookie and followed it up with an eight sack season last year. Fletcher has led the team in rushing since being drafted in the same year as Bain, rushing for a career high 1,310 yards last season with fifteen touchdowns as a Pro Bowl selection. Fletcher switched to the No. 2 jersey this offseason following the retirement of Derrick Henry, whose jersey is expected to be retired by the franchise.

In other roster news, rookie receiver Allen McGill is switching to No. 14 from No. 88 that he wore in the preseason.
