Burrow is the one QB who always gives me trouble. Josh Allen and Lamar are up and down, but Burrow always gives me the beltCaptain Canada wrote: ↑02 May 2026, 15:34Ja'Marr is still absolutely lethal at this point in the game huh
Hopefully him and Burrow don't beat you down too much.
we'll be back, just needed to miss the playoffs to appreciate what we had

Steelers Keep Playoff Hopes Alive, Outlast Bengals And the Elements

This TJ Watt scoop and score was the second straight turnover by Burrow that ultimately proved the difference in the 28-14 Pittsburgh victory.

Pittsburgh, PA. - Two days after Anthony Richardson pleaded guilty to Reckless Homicide in an Indianapolis courtroom, the Pittsburgh Steelers took the field at Acrisure Stadium in a near whiteout and gave their city exactly what it needed.
A win.
Pittsburgh defeated the Cincinnati Bengals 28-14 in a snow-covered, physical, deeply cathartic victory that keeps the Steelers' slim playoff hopes alive heading into the final week of the regular season. The conditions were borderline unplayable at times—visibility approaching zero, the field disappearing beneath a steady accumulation—and neither offense could find much traction in the first half. It didn't matter. The Steelers defense was suffocating, Quinshon Judkins was unstoppable, and for one afternoon at least, football was exactly the escape this franchise and this city needed.
Both teams combined for just 150 total yards in the first half, the swirling snow turning what should have been a high-stakes divisional showdown into a war of attrition. The breakthrough came courtesy of Joe Burrow, who attempted to find Isaiah Likely on a deep out despite the conditions and instead found Payton Wilson, who somehow tracked the ball through the wall of white to come down with the interception. Four plays later Alonza Barnett III found Quinshon Judkins in the flat for the game's first points.
The lead doubled almost immediately. Patrick Queen met Burrow in the backfield for a bone-crunching sack that popped the football loose onto the snowy turf, and T.J. Watt corralled the fumble and rumbled 23 yards through the drifts and into the end zone, one of the more unlikely touchdown runs you will see from a defensive end in a December snowstorm. Pittsburgh took a 14-0 lead into the locker room and never looked back.
Judkins put the game away on the opening drive of the second half, carrying the Steelers 75 yards largely on his own back, 58 of those yards his, before jauntily scoring from 18 yards out to push the lead to 21-0. Burrow and the Bengals showed their own resilience, orchestrating two second half scoring drives with the kind of precision passing that makes Cincinnati dangerous regardless of the weather, but any genuine comeback hopes evaporated when Barnett channeled his inner Richardson, tucking the ball and scampering in from two yards out to push the margin beyond reach.
Scheelhaase chose his words carefully in the postgame, the weight of the week evident in every syllable.
"After the events prior to the weekend, we needed this," he said quietly. "The city needed this. This organization needed something to rally around. Despite all of the struggles of this season, our playoff hopes are alive for at least one more week."
Pittsburgh improves to 7-9 and travels to Highmark Stadium next week needing a win, and a little help, to avoid missing the playoffs for the first time since 2022.

Losing to a team that had 73 passing yards is...

he made two throws that he had absolutely no business making in these conditions. Couldn't even see the player down the field, but somehow hits a WR for a 43-yard gain

better defense always wins
I'm down to disband the team
long as I get Joe Brrr
