ADD ANOTHER
The #1 Seed Clemson Tigers pulled off upset bid by #5 Florida to earn a trip to the Natty squashing a Gator/Hurricane matchup for the title with a (24-21) victory in the Orange Bowl.

Miami kept things close in the 1st half against the Tigers trailing (27-21) but Clemson exploded in the 3rd Quarter with 20 unanswered points as RS FR QB Trae Brake (80 ovr) throws a pair of touchdowns and RS FR RB Greg Sorah adds another as Clemson expands their lead to (47-21) going into the 4th.

The Hurricanes never record as they manage to go just 1/4 on 4th downs Clemson would add a FG midway though the 4th for the final score of the game.

FINAL SCORE CLEMSON-50 MIAMI-21

** For Clemson the victory was huge. I forgot to mention this since moving my thread over from Operation Sports but Dabo Swinney left Clemson like 4 seasons ago to take over Alabama. Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss to take over Clemson but left the Tigers last year for the NFL.. The Tigers then reached out and hired Southern Miss HC Charles Huff who had guided the Southern MIss to 4 straight conference titles and 2 undefeated seasons.

Huff is now 108-31 Lifetime with a (13-2) record vs Rivals and a (12-6) record against Top-25 programs..

Sweeney since leaving Clemson is just (42-24) with Alabama after going (185-50) with the Tigers

END OF THE SEASON RECAP

MILLER TURNS DOWN MULTIPLE OFFERS
Despite being in the first year of a new contract, multiple teams called Boise State asking for permission to speak to Miller about HC openings including Florida State and 4 teams from inside the Pac-12 (USC, Utah, Stanford and Oregon State). After turning down Ohio State 2 years ago, Miller made a pretty bold statement saying it would take a very special offer for him to ever consider leaving Boise State an after leading the school to 2 National titles it's pretty hard to imagine there is a school that could pry Miller away.

MILLER EXTENDS OC MARCUS ARROYO

After turning down multiple offers Miller was quick to not just make his commitment to BSU 100% official but he was also quick to announce that BSU wasn extending OC Marcus Arroyo's contract making him the highest paid OC in the Pac-12 and on of the Top-5 Coordinators in the country. Arroyo since arriving at BSU is 45-3 and has helped guide the Broncos to back to back seasons averaging over 50 PPG well leading the country in Total Offense Yards as well as Passing and Rushing Yards.

BRONCOS LOOK TO FILL ROSTER
Coach Mall Miller and his staff will be very busy over the next 4 weeks as they look to fill 20 more roster spots with the goal of signing a 30-35 player class. Miller goes into the Off-season with 15 players committed and just 7 players left on his Big Board of High School recruits so that means of his available 20 scholarships left 13 of those will be available for players inside the Transfer Portal.

With RS SO Keshaun Buckner declaring early and RS JR Evan Qualls joining the Portal the Broncos lost 6 of their Top 7 WR's from last year and added in 1000 yd TE Josh Flagerty and that leaves RB Jemarcus Boykins (65 rec 597 yds 9 TD), Backup TE Roy Carney (17 rec 211 yds 1 TD) and RS SO WR Conner Friesz (5 rec 73 yds 2 TD) as the Broncos Top-3 returning pass catchers.

Despite 5* WR Eric Zenter already signed as well as 4* WR Caleb Bromell and 4* TE Scott Fowler Miller is still targeting 4* WR's Taj Carr (#73 Overall/#11 WR) and 4* Angel Coker (#185 Overall/#31 WR) as well as several Top WR's in the portal.

Reports are Miller also will be targeting the O and D Line where BSU graduated 3 starters off both lines as well.

QB'S DOMINATE THIS YEAR'S PORTAL
7 QB's are ranked in the Top-25 players available in the Portal including 5 inside the Top-10 led by the #2 Overall player 5* Santiago Vargas.. Vargas a RS JR from Burien WA was the Oregon Ducks starter last season but after failing to make the playoffs because of the Ducks loss to Boise State, Vargas is looking to move on and 1 team high on Vargas's wish list is the team that caused him to join the Portal in the first place.

Miller
"We met with Santiago because how can you not when you have a 5* QB who approaches you.. We met with Tua Draft before the meeting and made sure Draft knew he was 100% our starter next season.. We did the same thing when we added D'Andre Webb last year who was a back to back 3000 yd passer with Iowa State."
After meeting with Santiago, he made it very clear he wanted a chance to compete for the starting role and that wasn't something we were willing to offer so at the end of the day we chose not to pursue him.

easiest way is to set up a ms onedrive account and have your captures auto upload there. then upload them to your host of choice. might even be able to post them right from one drive now, cant remember.

didn't see the lose to Miami coming, but it happens to the best of us. Lots of talent out the door, be interesting to see how you rebuild through the portal and if any of those 5* get some early run because of it

The game wouldn't be worthy playing if you knew you would win every game.. I will say though I was shocked because they were the first team to really shut down the run game all year and then for some reason my WR's struggled with dropped balls on 3rd and long which lead to a season high in punt attempts.

The past 3 years, Miller has been a portal king landing key pieces to keep the team in the Natty hunt every year but this year recruiting was the exact opposite.. We built a solid class of high school guy's but in the end land just 5 guy's in the Portal. I am getting ready to post my results in my next update.

Zenter (5*WR) and Finley (5*CB) will play right away.. I got enough depth at RB that Waller will likely redshirt and I think I will probably redshirt my other 5* CB because he will be like my #4 CB but next year could jump to #2 and then I would have him as a 4 year starter.

Of the 5* Transfer guy's I did land 1 WR who should make a immediate impact and I landed a 4* DE and a 3* OLB who are probably locks to start.
