On the bright side, I think it's encouraging to know that this offense still plays well without their leading receiver. Good win.
i need him back though, got some records to break

Senior Night 2029: Honoring and reviewing the recruiting class that brought Miami to the promised land
Eddie Fernandez -- 247 Sports Miami Insider

Miami's elusive sixth national championship was captured last year and the bulk of the Hurricanes' impact players came from their 2026 recruiting class, a class that finished second in the nation in high school recruiting and was the top ranked recruiting class in total when factoring in the transfer portal.

The Hurricanes will be honoring many of those players this Saturday when 22 seniors will make their final walk into Hard Rock Stadium (for a home game) as they continue their journey to a second consecutive national championship. Here's how the recruiting grades out in retrospect.

2026 Hurricanes Miami Recruiting Class
Juan Woodside [ATH #1]: 6'5", 240lbs | New Hampton, IA [IMG] | 5-star
Career Stats » 66 rec, 571 yds, 2 TD
Analysis » A solid player with a ton of talent that will likely be drafted but never quite lived up to his reputation as a top-five player coming out of high school. Woodside got playing time early at Miami, catching eight passes as a true freshman before becoming the full-time starter last year where he caught 38 passes for 365 yards and a touchdown. A solid, serviceable Power 4 tight end but not the elite playmaker that many thought he would become.
Grade » C

Shaun Turner [DT #1]: 6'5", 293lbs | Amite, LA | 5-star
Career Stats » 53 tkl, 27 TFL, 15 sacks
Analysis » A big time get away from LSU, Turner was an instant impact player for the Hurricanes, piling up three sacks as a true freshman and continued to be a rotational piece for Miami in his first two seasons before blossoming into one of their better players for the past two seasons. He was a major piece of the Hurricanes' championship winning defense last year with ten tackles for loss and has already bested those numbers as a senior and could be a first round pick in next year's draft
Grade » A

Dominick Longo [RT #2]: 6'5", 339lbs | Chapin, SC | 5-star
Career Stats » 30 GP, 60.3 PFF grade
Analysis » The talent is there for Longo and the coaching staff remains high on him but he hasn't graded out the best since emerging as a starter last year, losing his job four games into the year but was inserted back into the lineup and finished the season as a starter, including in the playoffs. He's continued to struggle this season with a team low 58 PFF grade but could get drafted higher than many people expect.
Grade » D+

Deron Tryon [HB #1]: 6'1", 200lbs | Charlotte, NC | 5-star
Career Stats » 189 car, 981 yds, 6 TD, fumble, 57 rec, 449 yds, 2 TD, drop
Analysis » It might have taken until his senior year but Tryon is finally living up to his five-star potential. He's among the nation's leaders in rushing yards and projects to be a potential All-American if he can close out the year strong, already averaging 93.4 yards per game on an impressive 5.6 yards per carry as a bell cow.
Grade » B+

Davon Momah [WR #3]: 6'3", 205lbs | Tampa, FL | 5-star
Career Stats » 236 rec (school record), 3006 yds (school record), 25 TD
Analysis » By season's end, Momah could very well be Miami's record holder in receptions, yards and touchdowns. A four-year starter, he's been the epitome of consistency and since moving to the slot, his production has skyrocketed with 21 touchdowns in the last two seasons. When you land a five-star receiver, you're hoping they turn out like Momah.
Grade » A+

Nate Cochran [RE #3]: 6'4", 241lbs | New Orleans, LA | 5-star
Career Stats » 2 tackles
Analysis » A forgotten bust, plain and simple, who still has a year of eligibility.
Grade » F

Paul Rhinehart [FS #1]: 6'1", 216lbs | Buffalo, NY | 5-star
Career Stats » 97 tackles, 20 TFL, 4.5 sacks, 2 INT, 14 PBU
Analysis » Similar to Tryon, Rhinehart was headed towards a dissapointing career at Miami but since making the switch to linebacker this past spring, he's been absolute game wrecker. He has 55 tackles on the season and thirteen tackles for loss along with three sacks and an interception.
Grade » B

Keke Hagg [QB #4]: 6'2", 214lbs | Clearwater, FL [IMG] | 5-star
Career Stats » 844-1280, 10175 yds (school record), 97 TD (school record), 28 INT, sacked 89 times, 259 car, 934 yds, 13 TD, 18 fumbles
Analysis » An extremely polarizing player that has stayed the course, Hagg is a rare four-year contributor at quarterback in modern college football. He was a part-time 'starter' as a true freshman and then broke school records as a sophomore but his turnovers, 14 interceptions and seven fumbles, were always the topic of conversation. He then led Miami to a national championship but got accused of being carried by his defense and running game so all he's done this year is carry the bulk of the offense and once again, has Miami undefeated and on the brink of yet another ACC Championship Game, his third.
Grade » A+

Alec Lawrence [FS #2]: 6'0", 210lbs | Morristown, NJ | 5-star
Career Stats » 34 tackles, 5 TFL, 0.5 sack, 3 PBU
Analysis » While the counting numbers don't jump out, Lawrence has been a solid piece of Miami's defense this year since making the switch to linebacker.
Grade » C

Jamar Rattay [CB #2]: 6'2", 202lbs | Miami, FL | 4-star
Career Stats » 60 tackles, TFL, 5 INT, PBU
Analysis » Even while stuck behind a deep cornerback room, Rattay has still managed to make an impact with at least two interceptions in the past two years. He'll continue to be an important depth piece to the Hurricanes' cornerback room as they hope to make another playoff run
Grade » B-

Paul Bach [LG #1]: 6'2", 291lbs | Tallahassee, FL | 4-star
Career Stats » 0 GP
Analysis » A complete swing and miss by the staff here.
Grade » F

Darrius Keyes [RG #4]: 6'3", 306lbs | Jacksonville, FL | 4-star
Career Stats » 15 GP, 59.8 PFF grade
Analysis » Keyes started the year hot after making the switch to left tackle with a PFF grade of 76.7 through the first three weeks of the season but has struggled since, averaging 46.1 in the last three games. He's talented enough to get it rolling again and does have another year of eligibility remaining.
Grade » C-

Manuel Arcuri [CB #6]: 6'2", 195lbs | Miami, FL | 4-star
Career Stats » 50 tackles, 2 TFL, INT, 6 PBU
Analysis » Like Rattay, Arcuri has been part of a deep rotation at cornerback since his arrival. He's been a solid corner for the Hurricanes this season and projects to be a key starter next year for them at corner.
Grade » C+

Troy McMahan [WR #18]: 6'2", 219lbs | Fort Lauderdale, FL | 4-star
Career Stats » 21 rec, 309 yds, 2 TD
Analysis » He just hasn't been much of a factor with just one catch this year.
Grade » D-

Alonzo Dubois [ILB #9]: 5'11", 229lbs | Jacksonville, FL | 4-star
Career Stats » 69 tackles, 16 TFL, 7.5 sacks, 2 INT, 4 PBU
Analysis » DuBois waited his turn and even with two five-star defensive backs in Alec Lawrence and Paul Rhinehart making the switch to his position, DuBois didn't run from the grind and is having a great year for the Canes with 53 tackles, thirteen tackles for loss and six sacks.
Grade » B

Isaiah Rugamba [LOLB #3]: 6'3", 236lbs | Fort Lauderdale, FL | 4-star
Career Stats » 66 tkl, 17 TFL, 10.5 sacks, PBU
Analysis » Rugamba left after three seasons to the NFL, cashing in on a big time junior campaign to get drafted in the first round.
Grade » B+

Javier Bowie [TE #18]: 6'6", 239lbs | Hallandale, FL | 4-star
Career Stats » 0 rec, 12 GP
Analysis » Hasn't played much, likely won't play much even with another year of eligibility left
Grade » F

Taylor Warmack [C #10]: 6'3", 283lbs | Tampa, FL | 4-star
Career Stats » 16 GP
Analysis » He's lost out on starting jobs for two straight offseason so we'll see what happens with Warmack but he does have another year of eligibility left.
Grade » D-
