‣ CFB 2029 Regular Season, Week 10 - Hard Rock Stadium, Miami Gardens, Florida
(2-7, 1-5 ACC) North Carolina Tar Heels at #2 Miami Hurricanes (9-0, 6-0 ACC)

Hurricanes rout North Carolina on Senior Night but star quarterback Keke Hagg leaves game with injury
Miami seniors Davon Momah and Keke Hagg were putting on a performance on Senior Night, scoring four first half touchdowns with Hagg running in an additional rushing touchdown in the third quarter as they were on the brink of an historic performance with Momah needing one more touchdown to break the school record for most touchdowns in a single game.
North Carolina would send an all out pressure on Hagg, hitting him just as he launched a pass intended for Momah that fell incomplete. It'd be one of the few plays that they didn't connect on and Hagg's last play of the day, leaving the game and directly headed to the locker rooms in the midst of Miami's 49-17 rout of the Tar Heels.
Miami head coach Mario Cristobal after the game said that Hagg is currently being assessed by their medical staff and they'll provide an update once one is available. The Heisman hopeful had completed 82 percent of his passes for 299 yards and four touchdowns prior the injury. Momah finished the game with four receiving touchdowns, tied for most in school history. Earlier in the game, Momah also broke the school record for most career receiving touchdowns, surpassing Jeremiah Smith.
Carolina native Deron Tryon rushed for 174 yards with two touchdowns in the fourth quarter. If Hagg is sidelined, the Hurricanes will likely need to rely on Tryon who leads the ACC in rushing yards and near the top in the country.

Miami's Keke Hagg has played last snap as a Miami Hurricane following surgery to repair torn pectoral
Carlos Navarro -- The Athletic Staff Writer
Miami Hurricanes quarterback Keke Hagg on Monday confirmed he is out for the season after suffering a torn pectoral against North Carolina on Saturday.
In a social media post Monday, Hagg thanked everyone for their thoughts and prayers since the injury. He was hit by a free rusher in the third quarter against the Tar Heels in the midst of a five touchdown performance on Miami's Senior Night.
Hagg was evaluated at Hard Rock Stadium and then taking to the hospital where he underwent surgery that was performed by the same surgeon that repaired former Miami Hurricanes receiver Jeremiah Smith's torn pectoral muscle. Smith was out for a year following his injury, which is the anticipated timeline for Hagg's return which puts his draft stock into question.
"I have been overwhelmed by the support from my family, teammates, coaches, and the Canes community," Hagg wrote in his statement. "Although this ends my time as a Miami Hurricane football player, I will always be a Cane. I cannot wait to return to the sidelines to support my teammates as the job's not done. #BackToBack #GoCanes."
Hagg is the school's all-time leader in career passing touchdowns and passing yards and holds the record for most passing yards and touchdowns in a season and was on pace to break that record this year as well. He has led the Hurricanes to a twenty-five game winning streak, dating back to last year when Miami finished the season 16-0 with their first national championship since 2001.
Bernie Flowers has been Hagg's backup for the past three seasons, throwing for 1,282 yards and nine touchdowns along with seven interceptions in sixteen games. The flee footed Flowers has also rushed for 271 yards and four touchdowns. Stephen Isaacs will likely serve as Flowers' backup.

Ain't nothing wrong with Hagg. We know he's just quitting on the team because he knows he might have to show up this year.

Miami overcomes 4-INTs from Bernie Flowers to blow out California 56-24
The first quarter and a half without quarterback Keke Hagg couldn't have gone better for Bernie Flowers and the Miami Hurricanes with the redshirt sophomore throwing two touchdown passes and leading five consecutive touchdown drives to begin the game.
The next quarter and a half couldn't have gone worse with Flowers throwing four interceptions, three of them leading to Cal touchdowns. Miami was finally able to steady the ship in the fourth, relying on their running game to blow out the Golden Bears 56-24 on Saturday to remain undefeated.
Eric Carreon threw three touchdown passes in the third quarter to make it 35-24 heading in the fourth quarter, aided by Flowers' string of turnovers. Miami head coach Mario Cristobal stuck with Flowers, who converted a fourth and three from Cal's 42-yard line with an eight yard completion to Miguel Escobar. Aidan Teague would punch it in from one-yard out six plays later.
Miami's defense would force a turnover on downs, sacking Carreon on fourth and four on Cal's own 44 yard line with 6:30 remaining in the game. Flowers would have another clutch conversion, this time an eight yard pass to Tyler Rattay on third and six to set up Javier Torrez' touchdown. Flowers would throw another late touchdown on fourth and sixteen, finding Davon Momah for his second touchdown of the night.
Momah finished the game with ten catches for 157 yards and two touchdowns, donning the No. 1 jersey in honor of teammate and roommate Keke Hagg who is out for the rest of the season with a pectoral injury.
