Those numbers and not in the top 5 for a heisman is crazy. West coast bias is real. East coast nonsense.

Stanford avenges early-season loss to No. 2 SMU, win program's first ACC Championship
SMU's offense scored fifty points in their first matchup against Stanford this season. By the end of the first quarter of their rematch in the ACC Championship Game, it was clear that the Cardinal defense they were facing this time around, wasn't the same.

With a chance to extend their lead up 10-7 with four minutes left in the first half, Mustangs quarterback Patrick Keener was sacked and lost the football in the redzone after a 57-yard completion had gotten them to the fifteen yard line. It took Stanford just nine plays to score a touchdown to retake the lead and after a quick three-and-out with 30 seconds left in the half, Alex Rowe threw a 65-yard Hail Mary to Rodney Cookus to the end half as Stanford would pull away for the 42-19 victory to beat No. 2 SMU on Saturday.

The ACC Championship is the first in Stanford's program history and potentially the last as the conference deals with looming realignment.

Stanford running back Trumaine Lasike led the way with 251 yards and three touchdowns while Alex Rowe, who threw three interceptions in the early-season matchup, completed 82 percent of his passes for 226 yards and a touchdown. The Cardinal are now guaranteed a playoff spot and likely a first-round bye while the Mustangs will now wait until tomorrow to meet their fate although a playoff spot is still likely for them.

I did not see that coming. No offense but did not see you actually playing defense here. Nice win.
