Senior Class
Major Loss
OG Jason Gibbs (90)
He played a ton of football for us mostly at C until this past year giving up just 3 sacks during his career. As a agile type it would be hard pressed to find anyone better then him with 99 run block, 99 run finesse, 94 pass finesse and 89 accel. It was the 4 platinum abilites that he had most of them early in his career like quick step, quick drop outside shield and option shield. He also likely earns a spot in the top 25 players of all time. A projected 6th round pick
LB / DE Dashaun Soroh (87)
One of the cooler stories we have had a 3* Athlete TE turned DE by mistake turned LB. He was 6'4 and 234 pounds and was mostly a pass rusher, but never had big time stats just 8 career sacks and 28 TFL. He had 94 speed, 86 accel, 97 tackle, 85 block shed with platinum wrap up. We do wander if maybe we mis used him and should have used him, but he didn't have the coverage skills to be a sub-LB. He might not have the production, but we loved him as a player and his physical traits.
HB Jahlil Gossett (93)
A 4* recruit with just impact dev that you keep waiting on that monster year from him and it just never happened. His yards increased every year, but topped out at 946 with 11 yards per carry his junior year. He finishes his career 2,747 yards, 8.4 per, 21 TD, 46 BTK with 82 catches for 808 yards and 8 TD. He was a speed guy with 99 plus shifty along with 98 accel, 96 carry and 91 route running. A projected 3rd round pick
DE Fred Feeley (91)
A home grown pass rusher finished with 22 career sacks lead by 13.5 his junior year. We hate to see his drop his senior year we feel like he got robbed on that one prob keeping him out of the hall of fame. A speed rusher with 90 speed, 95 accel, 99 tackle, 86 block shed, 89 both moves. The platinum quick jump and take down were huge for him along with silver duress and pocket disruptor. Likely A top 25 player in school history when we tally up the votes. A projected 6th round pick
WR Jalen Brigance (92)
The best WR in school history finishes with 156 catches, 1,543 yards and 21 TD and added 300 rushing yards and 3 TD. A 6'6 physical route runner with 99 short route, 97 medium route, 95 catching, 96 CIT, 99 spec catch made up for just 88 speed and 94 accel. What set him apart was 4 platinum abilities press pro, sure hands, 50/50, and cutter. He prob will not have the stats to make the hall of fame but our favorite WR we have ever had.
CB Dylan Toney (98)
We are behind on announcing hall of fame players, but spoiler alert Toney has made it as a home grown 98 overall player. Which would have to be the highest we have had and he got a big boost in legacy by coming back for his senior year. He was 6'2 with 94 speed,96 zone, 99 press with platinum jammer. He had 220 career tackles with 16 TFL and 6 Int as a multiyear starter. He is a lock 1st round pick
OT Shaq Okine (90)
Basically a 3-year starter we don't think he ever gave up a sack. He had 98 run block, 99 run finesse, 89 pass block as a well-rounded type with 2 platinum shield abilities inside, outside and option. A projected 6th round pick
LB Daryl Lyght (91)
The record holder for tackles in a season in 2 years had 246 tackles, 40 TFL, 5,5 sacks and 3 INT. He came over from Tulane like his buddy HB Ottis. A 6'2-and-232-pound thumper had as fast as they come 94 speed, 98 accel with 93 tackle and platinum wrap up. A heck of a football player that has earned a spot in the top 25 players in Hazzard history. A projected 5th round pick
Medium Loss
FB Artie Vick (85)
A 3 year starter and then lost his job this past year. He was never the true blocker we prefer, but was the lead blocker for a lot of elite rushing attacks. He had star dev so surprising he maxed out at 85 overall. As a former TE he also provided depth there and had gold sure hands. He did manage 680 career rushing yards with 3 TD and 31 catches and 2 TD.
HB Erick Ottis (91)
He played 2 years for us after 0 career carries at Tulane. He was a backup and return guy for us so never the stats he could had if he had played more. A backfield threat with 99 speed and gold sure hands, but was held back by no speed abilities and 92 accel. He was good return guy with about 20 per KR and 9 per PR. A projected 6th round pick
SS Gage Myers (91)
A fast LB that moved over to S so wasn't the greatest in coverage. He had his career best 81 tackles with 91 speed, 90 tackle so overall just ok ratings. A projected 4th round pick.
WR Demarcus Handy (94)
He had 24-416 and 2 this past year which is a lot for our #2 WR which was really the 3rd pass catching option. He always has more ability then stats with 95 speed, 99 accel, 99 catch in traffic, 99 spec catch and 90+ route running. He also had 5 abilities including platinum sure hands and silver cutter. A projected 2nd round pick that we think goes 1st.
CB James Worthy (87)
A late addition was big as a nickel CB strengthen the worst position on the team coming over from Michigan. He had 45 tackles with gold house call and blanket coverage. Not a star, but he was good enough.
DE Kendal Volk (88)
He was just here for 1 year as a pass rusher WITH 88 speed, 95 accel and gold quick jump. He had 4 sacks.
Little Impact
K Gill Mcsurdy (82)
CB Paul Swaim (85)
SS Kameron Spellman (85)
